I remember not even 10-15 years ago it was not considered even remotely controversial to discuss the fact that women quite clearly gravitated toward these types and were repelled by nice guys, and why would it be? It is easily observable to any sane person.

At some point 3rd wave feminists and their chokehold on society hijacked the term “nice guy” and concocted this entire cock and bull story about how the only ones saying this are passive aggressive nerds who h8 women and are truly not “nice.”

It’s wild that it has taken such a firm hold on society and is parroted by the mainstream now, despite nothing having really changed. Women still complain about toxic men and claim they want nice, romantic ones but then do the opposite of what they say. My theory on why this nice guy nonsense has materialized is due to the explosion of social media and dissemination of information, nothing is a secret anymore and so when women began feeling the pushback on their blatant dishonesty they devised this as a defense mechanism.
