There is different and contradictory advice for women as well. If you have sex early, you're easy, but no one is going to wait for you to get comfortable; you should be good in bed and be open to experiment, but have a low n-count; you should support yourself, but prioritize family and kids over your job and be ready to drop it for your partner etc.

There are also several distinct approaches: traditional/religious (modesty and submissiveness), egalitarian (equal partners), evil bitch (use and dispose/marry a rich guy), not-like-other-girls/pickmes (sometimes fit traditional group, sometimes do their own thing). I might have missed someone but these are from the top of my mind.

I think, unfortunately, a lot of dating relies on indirect communication, hints and luck. If you struggle with any of it, chances are high you'll have very difficult time learning these skills (and luck is just...luck you can't do anything with it). These are also skills that can be only practiced in real life so reading advice doesn't do much good for you without actually going and socializing out there and lots of people are having problem with it right now. People moving to apps don't make situation any better either.

It's hard to answer your question as you lump lots of different people together. There are people of both genders who get joy from harming others - whether emotionally or physically. They can do it intentionally and they can be awfully good at it. They choose to do it. We can argue whether they choose to be evil or get pleasure from it or it's just a mishap in their brain that they can't do anything with or that they were traumatized in the past, but they still choose to behave a certain way and harm others. It might be not their fault, but it's still their responsibility and strictly speaking their reasoning or cause doesn't matter for their victims.

Then we have people who can't get any dates or they have mostly negative experience with dating, hence they vent online, create theories about the opposite gender's inherently evil nature etc. It wasn't their choice to be traumatized in this way, but dealing with it is still their responsibility. It doesn't really depend on their gender either - a woman posting about inherently violent and sadistic nature of man isn't any better of her male equivalent.

Then we also have mentally ill people, who don't seek help, actively reject the idea of doing so and get deeper and deeper into crab bucket. Unfortunately, quite often they don't have anyone to help and pull them out and they don't have the capability to do so themselves, but it's a whole other discussion.

That's why all of your stuff isn't about understanding women, it's about the personality deployment required to gain access to and possess them.

After all, if it were just about understanding, you clearly already do: women are more nuanced and particular than men(note, I'm not convinced this is actually true) and we're seeking men with a skilled sort of social and emotional discipline which allows them to balance between two things which are generally speaking in conflict in order to achieve an almost yin and yang draw.

There's no reason that learning this should prompt that sort of rampant outrage and negativity that it usually does if the goal was understanding. But that wasn't the goal was it?

This kind of sounds like the disdain a lot of men experience towards women stems from women not acting in the way that men expected them to act, based on what they've been told by older people growing up. And while I can agree that the reality our parents/guardians/teachers/general authority figures presented to us as kids doesn't really match up to how (some) people are, if someone decides to hate women, as a whole, because of this, that just comes off as a very childish way of looking at the world. Equally childish to think ''my mom and dad told me if I was nice, I'd get girls'', and not adapting that based on new information. Nice people are great but just being nice isn't enough to be seen as an attractive partner. I also thought that just being nice and clean would mean people would find me attractive but by age 12 I had figured out that, unfortunately, the girls who were prettier and developed faster got way more interest than plain little old me. The people who were interested in me in my tweens-early teens were people who got to know me better and who were as awkward as me. I've also had shitty experiences with men in my later years, not all of them treated me well or with respect. And yet, I don't hate men and go on long rants about how they suck and are ruining everything. Because not all men are shitty, just some.

At the end of the day, while our experiences will influence how we operate in the world, the proportionality of our actions and behaviors is on us. Not liking women and steering clear of them? Cool, I too avoid people I don't like. Actively hating on women, be it online or irl? To manipulate people? To murder them? That's beyond ''trauma has caused me to dislike these people''. This is some ''look what you made me do'' nonsense. Women not living up to the ideas mama and papa instilled in someone doesn't excuse or justify violent actions.

And there’s some truth to that, but like in college sports, there are divisions in dating. If you’re not a D1 athlete, you’re not getting a D1 scholarship, right? And does someone who is uncoordinated and unathletic grow to become a D1 athlete? I suppose they could, but more often the D1 athletes have innate ability. They still need to practice, but they start “closer to the finish line” than Bobby from middle school who occasionally plays pick up in the park.

Dating is the same. There are people who have innate qualities (looks, for example) but they still need to have something going personality-wise to get the “scholarship”. The good looking guy might get “scouted” because of his looks, but if he can’t back it up with skill he won’t make the team, let alone get the money.

Now, let’s say you’re not a D1 athlete but you could make D3. D3 might be a chubby girl. You still need to have the skills to justify the scholarship. The D1 athlete would be able to walk on to the team with a full ride and a unshowered blow job after the game from the chancellor of the school, but you’re not a D1 athlete.

So you have to have innate ability. If not, you have to work harder. Because that’s what competition dictates

It seems to me that the problem is that society has LIED to men and women about what their roles should be, about what is good and bad, so long, that all interactions are toxic. I thought with the advent of science we'd finally have a sane source of info that people would rely on, but the influences of culture and religion are far too ingrained, so people not only cling to those bad ideas, but double down. People need to just treat the opposite sex ( or same, if that's what you are trying to F) with RESPECT as a person, not a means to sexual satisfaction. IF you do that, good sex will follow. I think it's wired into them. Deception, diplomacy, backstabbing, pretending. Men have the physical strength and the testosterone to jump into physical conflict if it gets to that point, women can't do that, so they resort to always moving away from violence, but that doesn't make them less competitive.

As a redpill man, I don’t hate women at all! I think a huge part of frustration is not realizing men and women are fundamentally different due to biology and evolution.

I think each sex projects what they find desirable onto the other sex and are frustrated when they realize it doesn’t work.

The redpill gives you the tools to understand the true nature of human sexual interpersonal interactions. It explains why we act the way we do.

Men and women are very different. Racial and ethnic groups hate one another for far less differences than gender differences. On the other hand, unlike population groups, you cannot separate men from women. So the genders also have a lot that bind them. This was the error in trying to treat gender like class, race, etc. The genders cannot be separated.

Male sexuality is obviously more straigtforward than female sexuality, with far fewer internal tensions and contradictions, especially in a novel evolutionary landscape. But women are not just trying to get a guy to fuck them. So now you get into the innate levels of complexity in all humans.

In the current dating landscape, I would say that males have two primary complaint, with everything else mostly being noise. Bothersome issues primarily because of what is seen as the primary imbalance. First, men feel women are too selective, with their current levels of sexual selectivity exceeding what is justified by their greater reproductive costs, which have been greatly reduced by technology. Men will complain that women today now test them on a much wider variety of criteria than men test women on, but I think men could adjust too any female mate choice criteria so long as the overall level of selectivity seemed reasonable to them.

Secondly, men believe that women use their greater sexual leverage to create dating and relationship norms that advantage women, such as who pays, who plans, etc. This is similar to point one in that some asymmetry may be justified by women's still greater reproductive costs, but men feel women have gone too far in what is now an egalitarian world.

A third issue is more of a meta issue. Women do not seem committed, at the macro and ideas level, to making society function when it comes to mating and family creation. The argument is always 'individual choice' with no regard to how those choices add up. There is some level of female sexual selectivity and serial monogamy that will torpedo the underlying widespread monogamy paradigm we still operate under. And it is obvious that there is some level of male sexual exclusion that becomes cataclysmic, whatever that level is. Women should be taking the lead on the birthrate issue as they are the ones who will suffer the most if it is solved the wrong way. Feminists used to at least talk about destroying the family and replacing it with a 'better' structure. Their ideas were nuts, but at least they were addressing a key issue. If you are a woman who feels women are innately very selective and widespread monogamy with low male incel rates was always achieved through an enormous erotic sacrifice by women, then you should be trying to come up with ideas for how to structure society if free women are going to reject most men. What is your plan?

I think your first problem is that you're caught up on something like the simplicity of male sexuality vs. female sexuality.

Despite the current cultural push, men and women are not the same.
Men are, by default, the pursuers. Why would women need a thousand podcasts on understanding men when they can just stand back and have a thousand men pursuing them. But a man has to understand women in order to garner reciprocal attention.

That being said, I feel for you, bud. The dating climate is disastrous nowadays. Much of the dating base is not making appropriate moves conducive to building a strong, meaningful relationship.

I remember seeing something about a research wherein a bunch of women were asked to pick the characteristics of their ideal man. There were like 40 choices, and half of the choices were contradictory to the other half. The women picked all 40... all of them... at the same time...

Given this reality, the best thing you can do is focus on making yourself the best YOU that you can. Get established financially. Get in shape. Experience the world and all its cultures. Find hobbies that make you happy. And THEN see what women around you seem to be placing themselves in your line of sight. If they share interests and life goals, it'll be that much easier to learn/understand how they see the world and navigate what to do and don't like.

There's a guy who has a cancel that recently went viral. He called it "Hoe Math." I don't care for much for the name he chose. And a good portion of his channel is making fun of women who unironically post things that show a lack of self-awareness. But he DOES do a very good job of breaking things down using social psychology.

I think it's more like girls treat guys like shit if he doesn't have enough value. They seem to think that most men don't deserve any kind of respect or consideration. They think we only exist to be used, and that they're important but we're not.

Maybe our misogyny exists because we do understand women well enough

the men who are enough as they are get to be in cooperation and relationships with you so all of your idiosyncrasies, selfishness and hypocrisy is tempered by the humanity of knowing women

Maybe the incels hate women because they are forced to do more to even have a chance of having a god outcome with women, and without the proximity with women we are triggered by everything they do wrong. They do understand, and their judgment is not affected by the bias of a positive personal relationship with women

What I understand from my experiences (also reading but let's be honest, personal experience in dating is more important) is something very, very simple...also very, very annoying and somewhat unfair.

What women want isn't a lie, they want all men to be 'nice', respectful, educated...even the men who they want to hook up with or date, but they don't want that to make you attractive, they want that to make the world better for them, simply, and that includes dating. Here is the thing: that won't make you more attractive or succesful in dating (unless she's looking for that stability), that will simply make things easier for them, not for you.

So if they had to give a sincere answer it would be more like 'be physically attractive, fun and wealthy. Also be nice to make me feel very valuable and special, provided you met the previous requeriments'

That's where many of us got dissapointed and frustrated. Your niceness won't do much for you if you are unattractive, boring or broke...but it definitely will make things easier for them and perhaps more complicated for you if you end up going too out of your way to be nice.

And this is not malicious or fake. They truly do freaking see nothing wrong with separating the male pool into men they'd f*ck no matter what, men they'd date (often the same as the men they'd fuck) men they'd never touch but expect to be very nice. And that's reasonable, what's not so reasonable is that they'd expect every men from those categories to be happy enough with their status no matter how lonely they feel. Honestly, the guys almost no woman would date have many reasons to feel frustrated and might see nothing particularly wrong with themselves because, yeah, there might not be anything very wrong with them, they might be average enough or just have other positive good qualities, so it's frustrating for them...and maybe the fuckboy wanted to have an actual loving relationship not just sex, and maybe the guys dating actually didn't want a relationship and would prefer just casual sex, who knows... What makes women very different is that aside from the romantics, most of them can be ok with their status there. Sex? Everyone can get it. Attention? Almost everyone too. Getting nothing? They still have friends and families who are very fulfilling for them, they enjoy everything else from life too, they don't need the relationship or the sex to the same degree the horny or the lonely men need it.

Should it be the same for men? Maybe. Ideally, they should be happy enough with their social circles and hobbies, but men and women are different, usually have different priorities, hormone levels, social conditioning and so on...so not every man but many of them can't really feel happy and fulfilled enough without a woman and being nice (even when you are genuinely nice) will leave you a feeling of unfairness: I really wanted this girl and genuinely care for her, but she's giving what I want so much to an asshole who doesn't even look much more attractive, fun or interesting. Obviously, that's frustrating... though to be fair, the asshole might not be too much of an asshole. Niceness shouldn't be entirely underrated, though, even if it's secondary it's still valued by women, just not to the extent nice guys would want it to be valued. Anyway, attraction is not negotiable, they are attracted to what they are attracted, it's what it is, and if you consider yourself nice you shouldn't stop being nice, just be careful with your efforts and expectations.
