I personally accept that both things are true.

What's strange though is it's pretty much accepted to either openly hate men or women based on bad personal experience, but if you were to say you hate members of a particular race due to bad experiences most people would flip on you (though that depends on the race of the person saying that).

Anytime you read someone bitterly talking about the inherent terrible nature of men or women. That "men are trash" or "women are incapable of loving anyone but themselves", please just add a race in front of their gender e.g. Asian women or Black men, and think about if you would accept that.

For the record: I don't condone promoting racism, just like I don't condone promoting sexism.

Edit: It's probably mainly in the west that you will get backlash if you speak about specific races, because the West has a culture (more than anywhere else) of institutionally promoting racial equality.

I feel everyone has trauma from the opposite sex to varying degrees. I accept fully that my gender has done some horrible things to women and that some women are going to, understandably, lash out.

It does make me angry that women treat me badly sometimes. It hurts and a natural response to pain is anger. I do my level best not to let that anger cause me to be one of the men who inflict harm. I don't condone that behavior in the men around me. That's all I know to do.

It's stupid, uncivilized and degenerate to be mad at an entire gender just because some people of that gender treated you badly. It goes both ways. I've had bad experiences with certain women but hold no bigotry or hate towards women in general.

Any normal woman who is not some kind of bigotted savage should be civilized enough to have the same understanding with places swapped.

That said, most women I know who have had bad experiences with men don't hold any grudges or hate towards men in general. It's just a small minority of always online American rage-baiters who actually hate and blame all men for things.

Most women have options. Most men do not. Its easy to accept someone blaming their circumstances and experiences when they have no options, its hard to accept when they chose the experiences for themselves.

For every man that is a drug dealer/criminal a woman encounters, there's another boring accountant, another nerdy software engineer, another hard working blue collar worker that she ignored. Its hard to empathize with a woman that got dumped by a man, when she actively chooses him over other men who are clearly more stable and secure.

If you stopped at just blaming fathers/mothers during upbringing, I agree that both men and women have no control over that, and can have their views tainted by 18 years of childhood experience. But I have very limited acceptance of women blaming past sexual experiences since for the most part they actively chose it over a sea of other good options.

It isn't, and I think you are making up a strawman. I don't think anyone argues the opposite is false, repeated mistreatment by a demographic is going to foster hatred for that demographic. That is practically self evident. It isn't a just outcome, no, but it is a practically unavoidable outcome.

Based on some of the responses I got in the other thread about how women treat men awfully I should have been a school shooter by now.

Which responses claimed that a certain threshold of mistreatment justifies the mass slaughter of innocents? Don't be shy, be specific. That is a pretty monstrous claim, and without any proof it's just a biased smear.

Opposite is also true (for many women). A lot of women experienced abuse, were cheated, faced misogyny and harassment. Some women develop misandry during bad experiences with men. Some other are just indoctrinated by listening to other women online.

From personal observation, when women are treated bad by bad men, they don't punish bad men, but good men. If a woman is raped by a Bad Boy, she's more likely to blame the nerd who likes sexy female characters for objectifying women than criminal men. Pump her and dump her, and she'll think you're a real nice guy. Try to convince her she's in the wrong and she'll think you have an agenda. I see no evidence oppression causes misandry - equality does.

I do not blame women with bad experiences for blaming men, its understandable. But tbh the worst and real misandrist are quite often women who get a lot of positive attention from men, but they take it for granted and are always unhappy that men still do not do enough, they still need to try harder to cater to their needs. It's good example when women complain how hard it is to be good looking - it's pure entitled bullshit. I am personally rather avoiding too good looking women putting crazy effort into appearance, they are very often spoiled by stupid men.

Women have some weird kind of obsession trying to convince society how much they get victimized but still they want equal rights. You don't get to do both. If people believe you're going to be assaulted if you step outside, your parents will never send you to school. You won't be allowed to dress how you want. You will never have a boyfriend. You will be treated like a toddler if you always act like you need protection.

Men know bad shit can happen, but women just keep on acting like they aren't afforded enough acknowledgment of their victimhood. There's only one way that can go.

Both are true. It is just happens that it is just a minority of men who actually make life worse for women (I mean half of your examples are of men who rarely bother anyone, let alone women). While almost all women make the lives of everyone around them worse. Including other women. So much so it is expected for them to be terrible human beings. Everyone has issues with a man who throws a tantrum for having to do something they dont want like cleaning their house. But it is so common for women to act this way, men will think you are a trans if you DONT throw a tantrum because you did not throw a tantrum.

Your previous post was about women who have treated men horribly. There was no link made in the OP to being angry at women or hating them (the word you used was 'slighted'). Top comment was a guy who had been cheated on and being blamed for that. The post before that was about whether men are angry at not being laid. Top comment was a guy saying it was nothing to do with that, that most people want love and respect. You're inferring anger and hate from the previous posts that just doesn't exist (at least the top voted comments). Most normal men don't hate women, they're not angry with them, they've maybe got a few complaints about their issues not being taken seriously, but that doesn't mean they're 'school shooters'.
