Let's be real-most sex is not worth the energy expenditure for women. Not to mention the emotional investment. After spending most of my life in committed relationships, I'm beginning to wonder if partnership with a man is really worth it if you don't want kids.

I have wonderful, fulfilling bonds with my close friends and family. They are more supportive emotionally, practically and spiritually than any man I've ever dated. Most activities are more enjoyable with girlfriends; I've usually had to drag grumbling men to do fun, active things as they would have prefered to be in front of a screen.

No matter what the body type, most men snore and I can't fucking stand it. They clean less and are less hygienic. They don't do mindful, thoughtful things. They don't match my effort in a relationship, even the good ones. After the first year or so, deep, meaningful conversation usually drops off. They are moody as hell and in denial about it. Most are no picnic to live with.

At this point, I'm so at peace by myself, I cannot imagine a man that adds to my life. All of them have succeeded in draining me in myriad ways. Sex toys are amazing. Intimacy with men just doesn't seem worth it anymore; the juice simply isn't worth the squeeze.
