What is your definition of a good guy?

From the discussions I've seen, to men it's usually a combination of:

-not having a criminal record.

-not being an animal/woman beater

-nothing kooky with kids

-obtaining your money through legitimate and legal means

-treating strangers with kindness, until you're given a reason not to.

...

By all appearances, when men talk about a good guy.... it's just all qualities of basic human decency? So you want prizes for being a good human? You're supposed to be that by default. Not to win a woman, but because...well, isn't that how people are just supposed to be? Isn't that the standard?

If it makes any kind of difference to you, here's my definition of a good guy:

-works hard without complaining

-has money (I'm redpill and conservative-ish so definitely don't take this as a representation of all women).

-treats his, and eventually my, parents good. Help me support my parents.

-Likes animals.

-Isn't overweight.

All the stuff I mentioned earlier goes without saying. Of course he should not have a criminal record. Of course he shouldn't mistreat kids or pets. Oooofff cooouuurrrssseee!!!!

The thing is - and I say this as an unobjectively plain and some might even say ugly woman - even us uglies get our share of attention from men. Men, boys, oldies. There is no shortage of it.

And yes, it can be just down to lust or carnal desires, but not always. It is not always sinister or demeaning. Sometimes you later realise that kind old guy had more in mind beyond just being kind, or that your little brother's friend who had always sought out your company when he came over did that not just because you're so fun and cool like you thought.

Point is, yes, on average even the most average of women have considerable options. It's the way the market is set up. It's the reality men have created by lusting over everything female with no inhibition whatsoever. Don't hate women for benefitting from the market. Would men have done any different if they were in the same shoes?

So the woman has options, she's gonna be picky. I think you need to ask women what characteristics they consider makes a good guy instead of going off on your own definition of it, because it seems that what commonly gets peddled as qualities befitting the Good Guy™, is just basic stuff like don't go to prison or give stray cats the bag-and-rocks treatment. That's really not enough in a market where there's seems to be so many guys with so much more to offer.
