Still fucked up by this Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi thing. Saw a TikTok of women saying that 5'8 is short. The thing is Jacob Elordi is such a rare height. I think I might see someone who is 6'5 in public maybe once a year or less. I see way more men who are 5'8 and shorter.

Despite this though, rather than having a concept of "average" women will think in a binary and say men are either tall or short.

Not only that, Barry Keoghan supposedly rose from a life of foster care to become an academy award nominated actor and is up for an Oscar for this movie. From my research Jacob Elordi is not.

So despite this, despite overcoming all of this, women are indifferent to him. He does have some fans, sure, but nothing like women are lusting over Jacob Elodi.

What I'm trying to get at here is that things really are getting way worse for men. It's clear beauty standards are much more unfair for men. Women can easily boost their appeal, but if men didn't win the genetic lottery, there is nothing they can do to overcome that.

Maybe this is why the looks discussion isn't allowed, because it is settled, but so many women still deny it and act like having to choose whether or not to wear make up is some sort of existential burden. If only it was that easy.

Anyways, you can buy a Jacob Elordi bathwater scented candle. The absolute state of women in 2024.

Women always say "I don't like big muscles" then when you ask them what their ideal body type is, it's always like Chris Hemsworth as Thor or some dude with perfect genetics and on steroids and works out 3+ hours per day.

Even women who say "I like dad bods" are talking about some dude who's fit as fuck and a 20 lb cut away from being shredded.

Are women just clueless on the amount of work/drugs needed to maintain those bodies or does women's hypergamy just have no ceiling? Discuss

Regarding a man's looks, it's often not the largest component in a woman's attraction toward him, but meeting her looks threshold is the most common hard requirement among women. Most men who are disqualified will be because of this.

Depending on how you look at it, it's paradoxically either relatively unimportant or the most important thing.

Put another way, among the group that meets or exceeds her looks threshold, other things are often more important, like status or social skill. Among the group that does not meet her looks threshold, nothing else about them matters because it will never overcome their disqualification based on looks.

weird thing I've noticed: trans and queer leaning men have way better luck dating an attractive women than a straight man.

being associated as this puts you in the "niche'" catagory, which there are less of these people, a unique women that enjoys these kind of people, and less competition.

I've also found it incredibly interesting that attractive lipstick lesbians and bisexuals will date objectively less attractive butch women, yet stil desire hot 6 foot 2 men when they want a straight partner.

Saw this on TikTok. It is becoming increasingly hard to deny that the looks threshold for men is getting more and more impossible to meet. Barry Keoghan is 5'8 which is around the average height for a man. Jacob Elordi on the other hand is 6'5 which is .07% of men.

This is such an interesting trend with Gen Z. Either they are admitting what women refused to admit for years, or the internet and dating apps are allowing women to carry out some sort of eugenicist fantasy to the max.

People will see all the swooning over this clip, but still reject the idea of mogging and looks being the most important factor in attraction.

I'm so happy I was born when I was and found someone who loves me, if I was a young man today I'd be terrified of the future. I've expressed this sentiment for years, but I don't want to have sons because I know life will be so much harder for them than if I have daughters.

I also remember once i was at a party and saying no to going upstairs with a guy and all my friends hearing me say no. I was with my girl friends, and had decided that "dating" wasnt for me. I was always going to have my girls round. We were doing coke with guys we knew well, and this one being super persistent for me to drink something I didn't really want. Looks aren't everything for men attracting women but they sure are the most important. Women are far shallower than men in this regard too. It's widely known women prefer some element of femininity in a guy's face like maybe large expressive eyes, full lips, smooth skin etc. but for the straight men are there any masculine features that make you more sexually or visually attracted to some women?

The first one for me would be a little bit of definition or angularity in the face, but with women in general I still say some fullness and sufficient facial fat is obviously preferred.

But the second supposedly weirder one is broad shoulders and height. Tall(er) athletic women with a broad-shouldered frame turn me on sexually whereas traditionally a body that is more feminine, narrow shoulders, pear-shape, etc not so much. Overall though again I'd say I prefer her not to be too muscular or ripped, to still have sufficient curves and padding. Also, I don't mind square jaws or stronger than average noses or chins in women as long as they aren't too extreme or defined.
