Men try and date women hotter than them all the time. In fact a lot of men see that as the ultimate goal to be with an exceptionally good looking women. They will also switch out their aging partner for a younger prettier women if they get the chance. It doesn't make sense to only say women are hypergamous and try and marry out of their league when men do the exact say when it comes to looks.
