If a girl invites me over, I definitely expect sex. Not because I think it's "owed" after several dates but because if she's inviting me over, she is comfortable enough to be that intimate with me, even if she isn't consciously aware of it yet.

How many times have you gone into something thinking it's going to go a certain way, only to have your expectations change mid way through because of how it's going? If she is unsure of being intimate at the start of the date at her place, I expect she will be sure some time during, or else I'm doing something wrong. That's probably what he is expecting.

I've been single quite a lot and dated a lot throughout the years, mostly through dating apps.

If "movie at my place" is invited to, I kind of think there's a good chance sex will happen. If the woman says "no sex", sex might still happen, but need to be sensitive to limits.

If the girl adds some qualifier, like "this is not just something I say, but important for me that is part of the deal" - then I have zero expectations and view it as a movie with a girl who wants to build relationship first.

The most important thing is how you communicate limits, mostly with nonverbal communication. If the guy starts touching you and you don't want it, you should clearly signal distance and say you are not ready to escalate physically yet. Normal people respect that.
