So fragile is a comparative word. Steel is not fragile at all but compared to Superman it is. In a world where only Superman and Steel exists Steel is fragile. So when egos are called fragile it's comparative and tbh I just don't understand that. I'd say that the human ego is a very fragile thing yes, and that they manifest differently for each gender but an egos an ego.

Are you saying that women are more far removed from their egos than men are? Thats untrue in my experience. Women are just as likely to feel insecure about their genitalia and much more likely to feel insecure about their bodies.

Are you saying that men manifest their ego defences at much higher rates than women? I mean I guess so if anger is the only ego defence available. Men do act out in anger more. But women cry more and complain more. No judgements for either of these things I just think that they're both obviously related to the ego.

Like when I grew up I always learnt it's rude to ask women how old they are. How is that not ego? So yeah, maybe someone can better explain their thinking.
