A lot of guys on here claim that if most men in relationships knew that their girlfriends don't find them as hot as the football quarterback they had a one-night-stand with 4 years ago, they would freak out and dump her right away.

So much consternation is placed on the disillusionment of not being the top-tier men that women seek for casual sex, and that because most men had to approach and be the pursuer in their respective relationships, that their girlfriends don't really lust for them like they would for the men who get casual sex easily.

The thing is, most men are somewhat aware of that fact, and even if they aren't they wouldn't really care. Most men are just happy to have someone to spend time with and who likes sex enough with him to have it semi-regularly. Whether or not he's the most chiseled, most hung or most alpha of all the men she's slept with doesn't matter to at least 90% of guys. They still get regular, satisfying sex, and they are better off being with a woman than being alone.

The guys for whom it does matter tend to be narcissists who accept nothing less than being the most handsome, one-night-stand worthy guy a girl has ever been with. They would prefer to be the outright best than accept living in a world where compromise is the glue that holds most human relationships together, and as a result these men tend to be perpetually dissatisfied with their relationships, if they can even manage to get relationships at all.
