Newbie here. So the other day I'm walking to class on campus and I see this girl I want to talk to and I also have a pretty good opener. I just came back from a first date. K-close and lots of conversation: Our personalities seem to meld together perfectly, we think and speak very similarly. We were touching almost the whole time.

But I don't think I built any sexual attraction in her. I think she's romantically interested, but not sexually interested. I'm not interested in playing her...looking for a romantic relationship, but not if she's not sexually interested in me.

Is there any hope for me changing things in a day two? I'm halfway leaning on discarding this one and looking for another. But I kind of like this one. I need help with getting past k-closing! So far right now one of my biggest struggles outside of AA is that all I manage to get is making out. Albeit I'm quite pleased that I can k-close for the most part at least once every weekend now especially as I wasn't very social in high school (college freshman part of a strong fraternity now).

But my problem comes with the facts that: 1) I have a roommate who won't let me have any overnight guests especially not a girl since he is always in the room, 2) I still have uber nice guy tendencies and feel very creepy suggesting we go back to her place after we have spent time making out, 3) her friends tend to come into play, 4) I feel like I haven't escalated enough to move to that (virgin/fairly naive so I have no idea when it seems like enough). So basically I'm stuck making out with a girl for a bit then being an afc as her friends come back, struggle to manage them and I end up basically either ejecting or following them around and being a nice guy and walking them all back losing all my escalation/value with the girl.

HOW DO I GET PASSED THIS?!?! It shouldn't be that hard as the dorms are like 5 seconds away and I have to walk past theirs anyway to get to mine. Its getting to the point were its messing with my inner game (which I'm still trying to improve) as everyone else in my pledge class/fraternity are able to f-close most every time (sorta outcome dependence).

Here comes the Debbie Downer post, it just seems like this whole pua thing is kind of nonsense, dont you think? Where is the skill in talking 100 girls and getting results 5%-10% of the time. Let me know if you agree or disagree, but I feel like if you can get over AA and are just confident anyone can do this...? There is no "skill" or magic pickup...just confidence, right?
