I actually did that one a certain website awhile ago using a profile with “average woman pics” (I googled and found an article and stole the pics lol). So kinda overweight and frumpy. Put down I like hiking and traveling etc.

Honestly didn’t get any really weird messages, mostly “Hey” and some well written ones, the guys were decent looking at times. Wanna say about 100 messages after a couple weeks.

Tbh I wanted to see the competition and a lot of em had better profiles than me ☹️

I don't think any man is pretending finding a relationship is easy for women on dating apps. Unlimited attention and options for sex? Sure, and since most men don't get even 1% of that, they are going to lack empathy.

I will say this though, the odds of women finding a relationship on dating apps would increase tenfold if they simply swiped on men actually on their level (or god forbid, a little below their level). Men have 0 interest in pursuing something of substance with matches that are consistently 2-3 points below their SMV. This is why the conversations turn sexual fast and hookups are the only thing on offer.

Sure. A couple things I'd need:

5-10 "dating profile" style photos of a woman who we can all agree is conventionally average looking. Maybe a swimsuit photo, group photos, hobby photos, etc. The hobbies must be average, the group must be average, you get the drill.
wants a relationship is a boolean, but a definition of "can hold a conversation". How long does the convo go? What's required to "hold a conversation"?
"has a job" is again a boolean but "decently attractive" is a stretch, but you can actually validate this after the fact.
what are win conditions? For the inverse, it's just that the fake hot guy can match with anybody and they'll continue to respond after he sends things that you wouldn't tell your mother you'd say.
an explanation as to why these videos don't currently exist.

a win is logged when they ask me on the type of date you've listed as acceptable (dinner, a movie, going to the Riverwalk) and I'll log anything approximately similar as a win eg you didn't say art museum but they invited you to an art museum cause that's like seeing a movie. Being invited to Netflix and chill wouldn't be on the list, so that's a loss.

The closest video that resembles what you've said is Tmol's video, followed by Gerbert Johnson's (but he focuses on how desperate thirsty men are by trolling them). Tmol tries to have some normal conversations, but he also trolls.

But most guys know that finding functional and healthy relationships on dating apps is going to be difficult for anyone. I don't think many people are dying that, it is probably easier for an average woman to find that though due to the overabundance. Women simply have more to work with, despite their passive role holding them back.

But there are fewer men fixating on those facts alone because men and women view dating differently. The men would most likely compare themselves to the other men that the women matched with, and women have their personal criteria that they are looking for.

If you want a videos to where men focus on the shitty men that are on dating apps, you are better off looking at reaction videos to "Nice Guys" or "Incels"

Interesting idea, I'd also love to see a male perspective on just how easy/hard ladies have it on the apps compared to men. The male experience is dreadful and a lot of the complaints I've heard sound like advantages rather than disadvantages. (To my sensibilities, being drowned in messages from weird, thirsty, overly sexual, creepy girls is way better than the usual attention desert I typically endure on the apps.)

As an addendum. I'd like to see an experiment with two sets of female profile images: one from a conventionally attractive model, another from a solid 4/10 on the looks scale, and see how differently hot girls are treated.
