Girls do well in school not because teachers prioritize them, it's because the female "nature" is more suitable for that environment than the male nature is.

Generally, I think girls are better than boys at being quiet, sitting still, doing as they're told/following instructions, working in a group, all traits that makes a person thrive in a learning environment such as a classroom.

I'd argue that on the whole, boys are given more attention and priority than girls, given that they tend to be more misbehaved, rowdy, noisy.

I read a post on Quora by a teacher who's been teaching middle school for decades, who said that when the teacher is talking, girls are just better at doing things quieter to avoid detection, be it talking, passing things around, or getting someone's attention, while a boy tries to fidget or whisper, he just does it so loudly the teacher has to tell him to quiet down.
