This post exemplifies the black and white thinking that is very typical of this sub. By this logic, I could argue that height isn't a factor either, because x, y, and z short guys get women.

Just because something isn't dispositive in and of itself doesn't mean it isn't a factor at all.

Assholes can get girlfriends, particularly if they have factors to offset their assholishness. Or if they are ok with drawing certain types of often damaged women who will gravitate towards a toxic dynamic.

That doesn't mean that struggling dudes who seem confused by basic social queues are doing themselves any favors by becoming hateful, isolating trolls.

It also doesn't mean that certain types of women won't be turned off by assholish behavior, although others may even gravitate towards it.

How someone behaves is a factor and will affect their results in the dating market. But, like most things, outcomes are driven by a number of factors combined.

You can be an asshole if you have something to balance it out with that makes you attractive. Charm, personality, looks, money, status, etc. The guys that are assholes arent picked because they are assholes but rather in spite of it. Its one part of it. If something else outweighs that part they will find a partner.

Same goes for women btw. She could be a total maniac and shit on your bed and you would still want her if she was hot enough. Men are just lucky they have more things they can balance out their issues with. If a woman is crazy and not hot nobody will touch her.

I think the more accurate and nuanced version of this argument is that The average seething incel isn't like these assholes who are also dominant - they're not doing themselves any favours by being seething balls of anger; just making themselves even less attractive.

The unfortunate question this argument leaves unanswered is: What particular incentive does a man who really has dropped out have to be a team player anymore?

My suspicion is that at the very top there are a lot of both genuine nice guys (bluepilled alphas who everything works out for) and assholes (because they can get away with it); in the middle, a lot of "nice guys" because they're attractive enough that being good boyfriends (what redpill calls "simping") just about pushes them over the line and they can't get away with being bad (plus many genuine nice guys, of course) - and unfortunately, at the bottom, a disproportionate number of bitter assholes because when you're treated badly it's likely that you'll eventually become negative generally even if you didn't start out that way - obviously, many will resist but the forces of entropy and cynicism are pretty powerful.

Yes, I get it that some of us men are upset and jealous that many men can get laid even though they are bad men and bad abusers of women while all you get from women are rejections, excuses, barriers, etc. This is something that has been noticed and that gets repeated on here a lot. My belief is that life is evil on so many different levels of which this is one of them. I don't really think that ranting/venting on here will change anything. Also, while it may seem that these women are on a great honeymoon; unfortunately, a lot of them get badly burned/scarred by these men.

It is a factor. But it's not a deal breaker. Men can be morally terrible men and it won't result in them being sexless. If he's rich and/or attractive, a LOT of women will overlook his terrible behavior.

I do think if he had identical twins who were both tall, handsome, fit men, one is a kind, caring, man and the other is a total asshole, there would be some significant difference in how much success they had with women.

Which one would have MORE success is a debate.

For my two cents:

I am saying because a common answer here when it comes to men not being able to find a girlfriend is "have you tried not being an asshole?" Or "maybe it's because you're a misogynist".

If I recall, I remember seeing studies where misogynistic guys actually have more partners than non-misogynistic men do. One particular patter noted of my own? Many of these are tall and/or facially attractive men (Ex: Wade Wilson)

Funny how guys like Elliot Rodger, Bryan Kohberger, (and genuinely unattractive men like Adam Lanza & Cho Seung-Hui) didn't get this same attention

It’s a factor in finding the girlfriend that a man wants. If a man beats a given woman that he likes, then she is much less likely to want to stick around. Also, there are some crimes that are so bad that they will severely limit the women whom a man can attract if she knows about them, although informal experiments seem to show that an attractive enough man can get around this barrier and still attract a woman. Most men aren’t all that attractive, though.

Well all the men you mentioned have money. So let’s start there. Sometimes women will date questionable men if there are other benefits. They will endure mistreatment if there are other benefits. It’s also possible they just lack self respect, confidence, or are delusional.

Abusive men being able to maintain positive relationships doesn’t excuse their past behavior nor does it change the things they were accused of. It’s common knowledge that abusive people treat people (other than their victims) very well. That’s how they maintain a positive reputation in the public eye. It’s also useful in discounting the negative accusations. Very much a manipulation tactic.

All that to say, multiple things can be true. They can have shitty traits but treat some people well. They can be misogynistic and still get a partner. Neither invalidates the other.

Bad means immorality. The moral response to immoral behaviour is ostracism, and failure to adhere to that is a moral failing, and hints at more moral failings from these people that they willingly associate themselves with immoral people. And well, if you hang out around this company, you'll reap what you sow.

It's also heavy naivety to think that when there's a "lower value" partner in a relationship, it'll be basically "relationship in easy mode" for the higher value partner and that the lower value partner won't lash out in a variety of toxic ways.
