Well considering I just met, and then rejected, someone who was "perfect" on paper for me, I've come to find that we don't have a fucking clue what would make someone "perfect" for us. So my answer is going to be way more generalized than it used to:

Someone I "flow" with, where I feel physical, emotional, and intellectual chemistry. Historically that has meant: very nice face, lean/slender/fit, well-groomed. But I suspect there's unknown mannerisms, personality traits, etc. that pull me in to her, specifically
Someone with shared values and life goals (wants kids, wants marriage, wants monogamy)
Someone responsible, healthy (emotionally and physically), and reliable.
Someone who's crazy about me just like I'm crazy about her, and willing to put in the effort to keep a relationship going.
Someone with a mind for exploration and learning, an intellectual curiosity

I don't do ideals, I'm assessing pros and cons on a case per case basis for what I see in front of me.

I don't have "standards" per se, but dealbreakers that disqualify from X position (fuckbuddy, fwb, girlfriend, mother of my kids). It's hard to judge using individual factors, as they often mesh together and give a clear picture and context to the puzzle.

Hm, well I’m looking for this right now, so:

Someone with whom I have intellectual, emotional, and physical chemistry - ideally someone intelligent, who doesn’t fly off the handle easily, and isn’t super fat
has good judgement and is comfortable making decisions and taking the lead/providing for the household, figuring things out, etc.
is sexually dominant and adventurous
wants to settle down and get married, have kids, etc.
will let me try out new recipes on him - i.e. not super super picky with food.
ideally someone outdoorsy because I would like to join him in that, but it’s not a dealbreaker if he isn’t.

Appearances are always subjective. One man's 5 is a 7 to another, and some "10s" are so plasticky as to fall into the uncanny valley. In general, I'm a sucker for cute heart shaped faces and a feminine figure. Too skinny can be just as unattractive as too fat as well. I'd say for a woman who's 5'6", there's a good 40 pound range in which you can still be really sexy. And just as a personal preference, long wavy hair is always a plus.

But those are general guidelines. Physical attraction is a matter of just being attractive enough. Once you pass that bar, everything else matters more than moving another step up in attraction:

Wanting to start a family.

Level headed and sensible.

Fun to be around, IE good sense of humor and clicks well with my nerdy personality.

Playful and affectionate.

Similar moral values, or at least not so different that we can't respect each other's opinions.

Well I could name a number of things that would make her perfect, but I'll keep it as simple as possible

Keeping herself attractive / physically fit has to be a priority ( of course combined with the features that I like) I exercise every morning and I eat pretty damn healthy, only natural skin care products, and so on I'm not into that "letting yourself go" shit that a lot of couples are into

Honesty and maturity, be it good times or down times , the ability to actually communicate is so key

I feel like with you're talking about a relationship, you can have obviously different interests but I think your ideals and morals and politics should match up as much as possible
She's got to know how to cook, I know how to cook but my ideal partner in this situation will take over the majority these responsibilities and have my dinner ready when I walk through the door

Most my standards fall under two categories. Those that are sexual, and those that make my life easier not harder.

The sexual ones:

Quality and quantity of sex (without sex, we're just friends)
Physically attractive (without this, the most I would want to be is friends)
Sexual Exclusivity (I'm not buying the cow if she's given out the milk for free)

In terms of what make my life easier not harder, the biggest indicator of this is how much it takes for her to be content. The only strong desire I want her to have is the desire to have sex with me. If she has a strong desire for lots of money, or friends, or political/religious views, etc, then it can only lead to me slaving away for the corporate overlord to make money, or dealing with all the drama that comes with friends and relationship, or pushed into some vegetablist diet to stop god warming the planet.

- Good looking. The basic of it – healthy body, well groomed, not deformed.

- Taller than me. I am tall, I always hated how unfeminine it made me feel so I wanted someone taller so I wouldn't be insecure due to that.

- Broad characteristics similar to me. I grow up in a place I was viewed as exotic, and I hated it. I wanted someone who looked a bit like me so I wouldn't feel I was being fetishized for certain traits. I also wanted kids who look like me.

- Less boring than a normie look, more boring than someone fully committed to a subculture look and lifestyle. Someone authentic and comfortable about themselves.

- Relatable. I hated guys who tried to put some performance of masculinity where they never have issues, and are so different and distant from women. I wanted someone I could understand, and could be understood by him. Someone that felt equal.

- Not too ambitious or workaholic. I don't want someone who's life is centered around money or work. For both sides of it, either struggling financially or being extremely consumerist, either being unemployed or being obsessed with the corporate ladder. Someone who can live a comfortable middle class life without much effort, as I am in this position and I intend to lead my life this way.

- Critical thinker, concerned about social and political affairs but without being an activist. Someone I can have intellectual discussion with.

- Strong moral values, someone I could admire for that.

- Different interests than me, but open to share them. So I could learn new things from them. Also open to learning something from me.

- Wanted to have kids – preferably more than two – at some point.

- Have a good relationship with people around them. Don't complain about everyone. Isn't always the victim.

- Someone who wished to build a long term relationship, and was down to build it in basis of dialogue and mutual learning not passion only.

I think this sum most of points, but this is a rationalization of something that, at the end, is more like a gut feeling. I didn't had a list of characteristics I wanted in a partner and was checking boxes for every candidate. It was just some general patterns I felt attracted to and things that could be a deal breaker for me.

I’ve always settled for less to way less and wasted my time on guys who didn’t had much going on for them yet had big egos because I tried to not have too much high standards (“he’s trying, give him a chance!” is the worst advice ever from friends. Of course people will go out of their way before dating and the first period of time to be extra nice, but once you are used to each other then what’s left?) It’s good to have standards, really.

I mean, the exact match would be a rare diamond in my case, but they def. need to have a mix of most of the above. Actually atm highly educated might be the main thing I’m looking at simply because I want to hold intelligent and meaningful conversations. I’ve dated both highly educated and lower educated men and the difference is huge.
Also I really noticed by simply declining anyone not in line with what you actually want helps you really find what you are looking for. No more wasting time on the wrong men. I think I've matured a bit to understand that there is no such thing as a perfect partner and I should never expect anyone to be.

Appearance: Not THE most important thing, but I'd rather date someone I find attractive than not. Face (eyes, nose, lips) and build are more important to me than height.
Personality: kind, thoughtful, and helpful. Not a judgmental type (I do enough of that so it's nice to have a partner who will mellow out my anger or feelings of injustice).
- must have hobbies of his own. Can be shared with me but doesn't have to.
- must have ambitions and interests outside of gaming or TV (gardening, running, reading, podcasts, whatever)
Career: As long as he enjoys it and can support himself. I will make enough money to support myself and a family but I'd rather my partner have a job too
Intelligence: Must be someone who is willing to learn and is someone I can learn from as well. Admits when he is wrong but stands up for himself when he thinks he's made the right decision.
Values: wants monogamy, marriage and possibly kids. Minimal drug use (meaning alcohol) and no other recreational drug use (no marijuana and no smoking).

My current boyfriend meets a lot of the above but he also has things that I'll grumble about. But, I realize that he cannot be perfect for me and in many many ways, i won't be perfect for him. But it's a partnership and we can try our best to make it work.

I like "petite" girls with relatively larger boobs, but doesn't have to be too large, 90-115 lbs range, pale and clear skin, no body hair, pretty face with "innocent" look.

Don't care about personality that much, she just should be pleasant around me, low maintenance, feminine, submissive in bed, rest is just a bonus.
