The viewpoints in this sub tend to be dramatic and extreme. They remind me of the way I felt as a teenage girl - believing no man who ever watched porn could ever be happy with an average girl. Porn was poison, and doomed any relationship. The same way many here believe women are all chasing 'chad'.

However in the real, observable world, the vast majority of people are average. Friends, family, colleagues, passers by on the street - average. Chad and Stacey are one in a million. They are not a part of the average reality.

These average people have average jobs, average salaries, average houses and average partners. They go on average holidays with their average kids and they are happy. In fact the more unremarkable a person is, the sooner they seem to find happiness and marriage, with their perfectly equally unremarkable partners. People are, overall, happy. They are free to pursue what they want, and usually those are average, attainable things. Even if they go through a break up, they find happiness again.

Of course maybe my teenage self was right, and all the men are actually watching perfect 10s screwing chads on their phones in the bathroom after their average wives have gone to bed, lamenting their average heights and jawlines and cursing the girl on their phones for choosing a cock carousel career instead of settling for an average Joe of average town like them.

But honestly from where I'm standing, you guys seem to be young, unexperienced and worrying too much, and one day you'll learn to be average and happy.
