Haven’t men always paid women for sex? I’m no sure how this is something new or a “rise” at all. What is new is that women are not socially pressured to marry men anymore, and men therefore have to work much more to attract women.

When the alternative is loneliness, it’s difficult for men to not try to attract women. When women aren’t automatically attracted to the men who don’t put a lot of work in, it’s easy for some users like OP to think that they are overly pedestalizing women. In reality, it’s women not choosing these men because they no longer need to choose these men. And, when the alternative is loneliness, how much can men really be blamed for simping?

Of course, men just need to put in the right kind of work to be more successful with women. But someone needs to teach them what to do, because it doesn’t come naturally to many men.

Well, there have always been dancing girls. And the consequences for higher status men sleeping with them haven't changed either. Birth control might exist but women will stop taking it if having a kid is to their advantage.

This kind of debauchery isn't new, look at the Romans. And the only thing that ever stopped it was the Abrahamic religions. Which is why they became so popular. Even the state had motivation to allow their influence as men with wives are productive and don't undermine society. To a large degree fixes children living on the street, to where an orphanage could manage the rest.

Is a strict religious society good, well it runs the risk of oppression. So at some point you want the market to do the rest. A good example of this is the passport bros. If this is what Western women are, then I'm taking my income and productivity elsewhere.

Same as the women who waited til 35 to find a man. The men are equally in their right to now say no and look to a different age bracket. If the men now just sit on their hands they can push a lot of these women out the gene pool. And that will have an effect on the choices younger women make.

So you can claim "weak men" but are they, or is it market pressure? The money going to the younger women like on OF, would have gone to older women, had they gotten into relationships with these men. In turn that makes it harder for younger men.

It also increases things like prostitution and objectification, because of older single men with money. And that's how you arrive at the opposite of what feminism set out to achieve. Not respectable women in good jobs.

They managed that for one generation, but screwed up by not taking better care of their family life. Because what young girl will work that hard if you can literally earn millions having pleasure on camera? Those girls do not have the same generational wealth behind them, because mom used it on not sharing rent with dad. And prevented dad from enforcing even the basic level of societal pressure needed.

Ehh I’m gonna have to disagree slightly. Yes, of course men simping is going to inflate SOME women’s heads. But then there’s women like me who find it fucking annoying and pathetic.

It doesn’t hype me up because I don’t value what those losers think of me—at all. Some of them will send me money either for no reason at all, or I give them a few feet pics and they send me a couple hundred. Of course I’m going to take their money because they’re fucking throwing it at me. You would too. But by no means does this boost my confidence or my perceived value.
