I'm a woman. During the sexual market place years I was a 6.5-7. I am petite. I was lean. I have great hair. I have open and expressive body language that reads as sexy combined with gamine-type proportions that tone that down into approachability and cuteness. My face is a bit of a mixed bag. It's not good enough to compensate for a bad body, but not bad enough to deter from a good body.

I am currently 35 and recently had a baby. I didn't have any ab separation or major proportion changes but I was a gainer. But, if you compare me to women in the same peer group, I am probably about the same percentile-wise. My facial features are a bit more robust than ideal but my skin is thick for a white person. I don't look especially young among the population of women who also go to medspas and have gym memberships, but due to my proportions and general affect I still get "girl" and "miss" more than "woman" and "ma'am"

I would say that I get more attention than a lot of women who are objectively more attractive and elegant than me. This is probably because I was a "controversial 7" rather than a universal one and because I'm a natural flirt.

A true, genuine, solid 5. Late 20s, mixed race female. I have some great features, like long and healthy hair, a good eye shape, naturally feminine shoulders, and good legs. I also have some flaws, like a crooked nose, thin lips, small boobs and a flat butt. I know I’m not noticeably ugly because I don’t get harassed for my looks or treated bad for no reason. Well I think that every 5th guy is more attractive than me so I'd say I belong to 70-80% percentage bracket which would be 8 on a percentage scale and average on a woman scale.

I do a sport which is unpopular with women (powerlifting) which makes me look a bit bloated(I'm 6'2 with 250 lbs and around 20% body fat), but I don't plan to stop with it to go one notch up on a SMV scale.

Most people think being so tall makes me unapproachable, but I think it has the opposite effect. Studies show that being a 7 where there are a good amount of people rating you as 10s and a good amount of 3s are much more likely to get people to jump (7 as a mean, but not median), rather than 90% of people rating you as a 6, for example. I feel like I'm kind of the definition of this phenomenon.

One thing that’s very clear from comments here is that everyone is grading on their own scale. The whole 1-10 thing is meaningless when no one agrees on a grading scale.

For example, one guy said he’s more attractive than 70-80% of guys, so he’s probably about an 8. It’s a completely valid answer because there’s no grading scale. An 8 is whatever he says it is.

But just to be clear though, if someone is in the 70th to 80th percentile, they’re only slightly above average looking. They’re not even a standard deviation above average. Calling a person in the 70th percentile “attractive” is like calling a guy who’s 5’10 1/2 “tall”. I mean he’s not short, but he certainly doesn’t stand out as tall either. He’s slightly above average.

It would be more interesting to ask people what percentile they think they’re in. Then at least everyone would be rating on the same scale.

Face: big forehead, large nose, wide eyes, but good symmetry, cheekbones, no baby face and ok jawline. The people I know say it looks ok. AI ratings have generally been around 6.5-7.5. So I'd it's a 5-6. Also my hair are pretty fucking great, they go with my face pretty well and have been compliment a few times. But have no facial hair

Body: Naturally quite lean and working out has given good muscle definitions. Trapezoid body shape. I like my body cause I have put work into it so being objective is hard. I'd say 6-7 so it's probably 5-6.

I am bad at scoring myself but if i take how people react and some statistics, i think this would be accurate. I am coming from a long phase of being an unattractive, unkempt, fat, introverted comp science nerd and WoW raid leader who spent all his time indoors and with only 2 sexual partners by age 32 (although with a 12 year long monogamous relationship), so i am not used to see myself as a desirable guy. So how do i come up with the rating?

I do look like 28 or 29 to basically everyone who comes into contact with me. People are shocked when they hear my real age and ask for my secret (which obviously is genetics and spending a decade in a dark room with video games).

My best scoring photofeeler pictures get rated at 9-9.5 on all rated dimensions for dating (attractive, trustworthy, smart)
