For those who don’t know the film “Her” was a Sci-Fi relationship film made in 2013. Way before the current crop of LLM models. In the film Joaquin Phoenix falls in love with his operating system, which basically plays the part of a dutiful, ever present, kind girl friend, secretary, accountant, etc.

To date there has been no system that achieved this, let alone convincingly mimicked it. Something like Replika can’t see the outside world. Ditto for other AI chat bots. Similarly you cannot interrupt the old crop of chat bots without screwing them up. This is why so many men still pay to talk to live hot girls.

But I’m wondering if Open AI has changed this today with the GPT-4o? What will happen to things like OF when real time Sora video can be attached to it for the cost of $10 a month? Why pay $10 a minute to talk to a cam girl? And for those of you saying most men want to text an OF girl, do you really think men will prefer to text a girl (which is usually a guy) rather than talking with a fake but highly convincing voice?
