Logic does not benefit men, it hinders men more than it helps them. Women’s opinions on a broad amount of subjects both politically and on this forum, are logically inconsistent.

They are logically inconsistent if you assume that they are trying to avoid being hypocritical. If you understand that everyone (both men and women) is trying to maximize their happiness and minimize dissatisfaction, then the choices and positions are pretty logical. In other words, most humans are logically hypocritical because, at the end of the day, we are all selfish.

Men’s opinion on the other hand, you can usually follow with inductive reasoning. This is the biggest hindering men face.

Not really. For example, plenty of redpill self-improver types also have a cognitive dissonance - if you are not centering your life around women, why do you care about the type of self-improvement that purely appeals to women - wearing stylish clothes, going to the gym to have the stereotypical V taper, buying expensive cars, spending hours in the bars and clubs approaching and getting rejected 95% of the time? Most people who end up in relationships don't do 80% of these things. If you believe that relationships are more or less transactional, why are some manosphere guys against prostitution? These are just examples, not saying all men think like this.

Logic and empathy are huge inhibitors for men for sure. But you should definitely start to use logic (and based on observations, not what women) once you lock in the woman you want for an LTR.

You CAN use logic to arrive at many of the positions women hold on this sub. The missing piece of the puzzle is that oftentimes the assumption that there's an objective social hierarchy and the men here are lower than the women is baked into their responses. There's logical sense if you understand this opinion.

I have also noticed a love of Himbos (handsome but unintelligent men). To illustrate my point, I have posted an image below. The context is that in 2013, Organizing for Action, which advocated for the legislative agenda of Obama, wanted to campaign to get younger Americans to sign up for Obamacare. They needed to produce something that was left-leaning but also that young American men could relate to. This is what they came up with.

Of course, most people found this image worthy of mockery. I agree there's a logical inconsistency in that men are told to be sensitive and vulnerable, and abandon gender roles, but then we all agree there's something repulsive about this image. The himbo is the cure to this problem. Somebody who they can give a speech about toxic masculinity to, but who's gonna forget what was said and hence not second-guess any of their behavior. The himbo doesn't compete with them for highly sought-after white collar jobs, and doesn't have any political views that contradict their own.

I think the conclusion that I'm rapidly drawing is that men need to start filtering out radical left women for dating. And this is coming from somebody who is moderate left, not right wing. I can't really deal with people who push men to be things they don't like sexually, and who want political revolution but want it to be handed to them. There is a logical conclusion, but it's just kicking some viewpoints to the curb until they can get themselves in order.

I believe that man are more logical than woman but also that they do not want to accept reality for what it is.

Also it makes a huge difference how you react to your own conclusion.

Logic is only an inhibitor when those trying to use logic start over thinking about things that don't need that much thought put into them because there is rarely an underlining reason for why people act and do what they do other than...well....some people are just like that.

You can be the prettiest peach in the world but the harsh reality is that some people just simply don't like peaches and there is no existential reason other than a simple "just not my thing". Not everyone likes the same types of fruit or even fruit at all. Same goes for people and genders in general and pretty much everything else in the world.

People like what they like because they just do and people dislike what they dislike because they just do. Some things are just really that simple and don't require much further thought.

You can be perfectly "logical" within the domain of your own beliefs and presumptions, but if you don't identify those internal biases and check for correctness then that logic doesn't operate so well outside of domain.

No need to turn away from logic, but the best advice to men would be to identify and correct internal logical oversights and expand the domain in which your reasoning is sound as much as possible. Takes a lot of maturity to do this, but the best way is start assuming you are wrong until proven right.

I think some men are more literal minded, and that the brain has a finite capacity of multitasking. The problem with being in "literal thinking mode" is that you get stuck in your own head, but if you learn to silence these thoughts, you free up mental bandwidth for other things.

This is tough as nails to change. You need to catch yourself constantly and tell your brain to shut the hell up, because it habitually wants to do what it normally does.

Without the overdone thinking, you get a lot more socially perceptive, and can absorb the person in front of you. You talk better. Hell, you even dance better.

This when you no longer logic, alanyze, conclude, or strategize over what to say and do next. Blank that out, completely.

I learned this long ago and it definitely made me more attractive. The geeky half-there/half-gone-in-his-own-thoughts is a universally unattractive type after all. He appeals to noone.

Fair warning though, checking out your brain in this way does tend to make you careless and naive. It might lead you into the arms of people that are bad news sometimes.

Disagree, men and women have comparable levels of emotional and logical reasoning.

Intelligence is generally a matter of compatibility like any other.

While it is the case that a person with compatible life goals who is more intelligent than their partner, can complement their partner’s lower intelligence as a “flaw” like any other that the partner can equally complement with a different strength, mental and emotional intelligence still generally effects two individuals capacity to understand each other and connect.

You are correct that studies show a higher intelligence correlates with virginity rates, and those are the reasons why.

It’s something that some people can change by dating less intelligent partners, but it’s simply not possible for many people to have too vast of an IQ and emotional intelligence gap, both of which tend to correlate as research suggests the g factor means many forms of mental excellence, including creativity as well, tend to correlate.

And plenty of emotionally mature women admire high intelligence and problem solving skills in their partners.

One thing that bothers me about this post is the overall tone. “Dear men, you have high IQs with a solid logical framework… but these women, they don’t get it. Dumb yourself down”

Of course, this post ignores the fact that many men have a habit of framing their emotions as logic and makes the mistakes that logically consistent inherent means intelligent when in all reality, it just means your thoughts are more likely to follow a consistent stream - which can be double edged sword, especially when different situations require entirely different thought processes or when your base assumptions themselves are flat out wrong

I used to buy into this but I have learned over time that the goal is not to be illogical, the goal is to stop misapplying logic.

Dating is less like a math problem, and more like sales.

I used to think of dating more like a math problem, if I just say x or y, if I just simp for this girl in the right way, If I change myself to pander to her, then she will like me. I assumed theres was some mutual trade in the background, where if I act like a pushover than I will get what I want. When women didn't reward me for this, I thought they were mystical creatures impossible to understand, and that they don't respond predictably to logic.

But I have learned that there is a logical model to understand dating and women, and they all actually do respond to certain things quite predictably. This is pretty much the redpill..

They react very well to perceived demand, at first you sort of have to fake the abundance mentality but it becomes more real over time. They react very well to masculinity in general, you can rarely lose by taking social risks and seeming mentally strong. You are best off seeing any individual woman as just a "lead" until she has sex with you, never invest much into any single one, this also helps with creating the perception that your product is in high demand. You want to be very genuine, lying or changing who you are will have you lose more women out of distrust than it will gain from you lying to them. And its a good idea to just be generally personable and funny. And ofc, all things equal you need to run numbers game, just like salesmen need to knock on as many doors and call as many numbers as possible or w/e.

These are all logical observations that fit into a logical model of how you should behave, and they will give you the most success. Now just throwing all logic out the window will get you better results than the "math problem" approach, but for the best results you still do want to approach thing strategically and logically.

OP is kind of correct. I always wind up losing respect for partners when, sooner or later, she has some sort of challenge and simply CANNOT form a rational A > B > C plan of action. They come up with some wild overreaction (often a bid for attention, more than anything else…which I also find impossible to respect) and then refuse to accept any logical response to their situation. Often they straight up tell me that they want to be told what to do (which makes me basically treat them like children).

I hate it, but it’s just how women are. Like in everything else, they say the exact opposite of what they actually want. They say they want to be respected as equals, but in reality they want to be led by a man and only have freedom within a walled and well-curated garden….not the experience of the wild.

I don’t get it, and desperately wish things were different, but have to accept the way things are when I’m with someone.

Most people aren’t average, that doesn’t stop averages from being visible in large scale populations or having huge effects. The same way men are on average stronger and more likely to have a dominant personality. There are plenty of strong women, stronger than most men, but because men are stronger on average and more dominant, that has created the effect that your gender was domesticated by men throughout all of history.

I don’t think women can’t use logic. I think they are emotional and illogical. Big difference. Can’t use logic = stupid and can’t think. Emotional and illogical means I believe emotion destroys logic and that women are emotional and more likely to divert to emotional thinking rather than logical thinking; women’s iq is the same as men on average. The logical capability is there. It just gets overridden by emotion. That’s basic human psychology and applies to men too. But I believe men are less neurotic, therefore less likely to divert to emotional thinking.

If you’re saying emotions don’t override logic, then you’d just be denying basic human behavior and just makes you look dumb.

Me using the bear is an example. Not the argument. Logically, a human being, is far less likely to attack you than a wild animal like a bear. There’s no other way to see it logically, women can see it that way, but their emotions override logic (the emotion of fear towards strange men) so they pick the bear and try to rationalize it.

Let me make it clear. The reason I’m not clarifying these things in my comments is because I’m not having a debate in good faith. I’m here to stir shit for my enjoyment. That’s why I comment here. That doesn’t change the fact that women still act in this way and prove human psychology over and over again.
