Does anyone else feel the same? I understand that abuse is not solely physical, but a lot of the things these guys claim is "abusive" are a joke to me. I was just browsing through a post about early signs of abuse, and some of the things the men said are so ridiculous compared to what the women said.

For example, a guy will say something along the lines of "ugh my girlfriend dared asking me a question about our relationship and it was SEMI EMOTIONAL reee reee reee" or "my girlfriend was so controlling and didn't let me spend time with my friends." I just can't help but assume that any controlling behaviour is 99% of the time just their girlfriends being sick and tired of their bullshit. Their friends are probably assholes who talk shit about her. Her "nagging and controlling" is probably her trying to find some answers from an impossible bf. The responses from women are always "he controlled what I ate" and other physical trauma. Idk, I just really question it. I don't like the notion that women are on an equal playing field as men when it comes to potentially being an abuser. I think a lot of "my gf was abusive" is honestly her not taking shit.
