I grew up alongside a generation of men addicted to porn.

High speed internet porn has been widely consumed since the eary/mid-2000s. Most men my age have been watching it almost daily it seems, since they were around 10-12 years old.

Just let that sink in: most guys in my age bracket have been watching hardcore porn since long before they ever held a girl's hand.

The average man nowadays has had far more sexual experiences from porn than with women in real life (by several orders of magnitude). For some men, their ONLY sexual experiences are from watching porn.

Most of my boyfriends were porn addicts. When I was 14, my first ever boyfriend tried to pressure me to do some of the things he saw in porn. I told him I wasn't ready to lose my virginity so he tried to coerce me into anal, blowjobs, him cumming on my face, "tittyfucking" and other weird porny shit I had never even heard of, he would get all annoyed with me like "uLL sTiLL bE a ViRgiN!" Meanwhile I just wanted to like... hold hands and maybe make out. Ya know, normal age appropriate stuff for teenagers. Whenever we kissed he would always push further and get straight up ANGRY with me when I didn't want to do more because I wasn't acting like the girls in porn. He would show me porn and be like, "this is how people have sex, this is what I want to do" and went on and on about how abnormal I was for not wanting to fuck like a paid porn actress. In hindsight it was absolutely insane how casually he talked about porn and used porn vocab in conversation. He literally categorized women and things like "MILF, teen, gangbang, interracial, POV, big tits, small tits" etc.

When I was 18-19, I was dating a guy 10 years older than me (gross, I know. He was my TA in university too). He literally could not maintain an erection unless he was watching porn. Every time we tried to have sex he would go flaccid and would have to pause and go watch porn to get hard again. Sometimes he made me watch porn WITH him and have sex while his eyes were on the screen. Half of the time we had sex, he had his phone in bed and he would be watching porn while he basically just used my body like a fleshlight.

At the time I remember feeling so horrible about myself. Insecure, ashamed, wondering if there was something wrong with me or my looks. In hindsight, it was actually pathetic that here's this grown man with a young hot thing in his bed and he can't stay hard unless he's watching a screen.

Nearly every single boyfriend I have had since then were sexually dysfunctional in some form or another. Extreme premature ejaculators. Or, taking forever to cum, as in literally hours... unless he was watching porn with a death grip, then they came in 1 minute. Guys who demanded nudes and basically expected me to be his own personal porn star. Men who coerced me into trying out his gross porny fetishes and fantasies.

My two best relationships, with men I would consider HVM by FDS standards, were with men who didn't consume very much porn. Of course they still watched it from time to time but they weren't frequent users. Their parents didn't give them constant unsupervised access to the internet when they were young kids, so those early formative years were not corrupted by unfettered porn use. They had sex like normal people: loving, intimate, respectful, didn't try to use or violate me. These were the only men who I feel genuinely loved and cherished me.

Unfortunately, such men are quite rare. It's actually quite tragic that the vast majority of men nowadays are cursed with what will probably be a lifetime of sexual dysfinction, incapable of forming loving healthy relationships with the women they desire.

Even if they quit and go #nofap, their brains are still permanently altered simply because they've been watching porn since they were so young.

Children 10-12 years old are going through major developmental milestones especially psychologically, with regard to empathy. For example, child soldiers are often recruited/kidnapped when they are under the age of 10 because that is when their minds are most malleable. Child soldiers are indoctrinated to kill without conscience, they are brainwashed into feeling zero empathy for others and to see their enemies as subhuman.

Tragically, former child soldiers are notoriously difficult to reintegrate to society due to the permanent changes in their personality. Even with the best mental health treatment, most of them find it impossible to live a normal life after being indoctrinated at such a young age. Many of them end up rejoining paramilitary forces, because that is the only life they know how to live.

Experience has taught me that most men my age have been indoctrinated by porn to see women in the same way that child soldiers have been indoctrinated by paramilitary groups to see everyone else. Subhuman, deserving of violence, undeserving of compassion and empathy.

Just talking to men my age is quite literally creepy. Most just stare at me with these cold dead serial killer eyes and I just know they're probably imagining me naked and doing disgusting depraved things to me.

Simply quitting porn and going nofap isn't going to cure a lifetime of indoctrination into seeing women as emptyheaded sex objects. It doesn't address their underlying psychology.

The only hope these men have of living a normal life would be to 1) admit that they have a problem and take responsibility for it, 2) commit wholeheartedly to self improvement and permanent change, and 3) literally years of therapy. Most men aren't even willing to do the first two, instead they just try to normalize porn, rationalize their misogyny, and blame everyone but themselves: society, women, feminism, "Chads", etc.

The whole situation just makes me so fucking angry: angry with men, angry with parents for coddling their sons and letting them do whatever they want without restriction, angry with the government for not doing anything about it, angry with porn companies...

It's honestly tragic that an entire generation of men and women have had the prospect of genuine love and intimacy stolen from them. An entire generation of sexually depraved men who have been indoctrinated to see women as tools for their sexual gratification.

Perhaps the worst part is that an entire generation of women have also been indoctrinated. We have been brainwashed from a young age to think that we HAVE to do these things if we want boys to like us. That the price of love and intimacy is subjecting ourselves to degradation and sexualized violence. My early formative sexual experiences were all with men who normalized porn and treated me like I'm the abnormal one for not wanting to fuck like a porn star. Since a young age I was made to feel like the only way into a man's heart is by appealing to his myriad of misogynistic kinks. I'm so glad I found FDS, which helped break the spell of this brainwashing.
