Got caught behind an ugly accident early this morning because of three sports cars in a speedster contest. I was maybe ten seconds behind that mess. I gotta go in and give a report for what I saw even though my GoPro caught most of it. It's been six hours and my knees are still knocking. I went 50 years not ever seeing shit like this and I could have gone another 500. My precious Saturday is ruined.

As a person living in a 3rd World country, I committed a huge sin, commenting on YouTube that I'd prefer living in my country rather than a rich country like Norway, my reasoning for it, well, I prefer to keep at least 70% of my income, what's wrong with that? It might be a common theme where you find attractive people who are a bit boring or just douchey/bitchy while the lesser attractive people are more personable and capable of good conversation (with the less common attractive and interesting people vs unattractive and abrasive extremes).

It is probably just a natural consequence that people become who they are, but for the people who focus on improvement, one has to be more valuable to a person than the other, and one is working within limits while the other is only limited by their will to change (and maybe their brain wrinkles).

Often times guys will get hints from women to approach them in certain environments. Like they’ll be at a bar and a girl will give them “The look” to come over and talk to them. The guy will approach, blow it by being weird and or having no game, and then she’ll decline.

He then interprets this as I must’ve misread the hint because she said no. Nah you fucked up, that was a real hint you just couldn’t close the deal. It’s like a job offering you a interview, you bomb said interview and then claim it was never a real offer because you never got the position.

u/_mwk, the recipe I said I'd translate for you. Sorry for taking so long.

4 eggs
1 yolk
100g + 20g sugar
45g flour
15g corn starch
lemon zest
optional: 1 teaspoon of dried ginger, mango

How you do it:

First prepare any cream you like that also isn't too soft. The author makes one with 200g mascarpone and 100g cream cheese, sugar to taste. You also need a clean kitchen towel.
Separate whites and yolks from 2 eggs, put whites aside.
In the other bowl put all whole eggs(2) and yolks (3), add 100g sugar, brown gives better taste and color. Beat with a mixer for 5-7 minutes till it becomes really fluffy and light.
Add 45g flour, 15g corn starch, lemon zest and a teaspoon of dried ginger. Mix again.
Whites that you've put aside now mix till fluffy foam, add 20g sugar and mix till firm peaks.
Add whites into the dough and gently mix them with a spoon/spatula
Place the dough on a paper lined baking sheet with rims. Spread the dough so it would be around 1 cm high.
Bake at 180C for 6-8 minutes. When it gets golden and "springs" when pressed, it's ready. Let it cool for ~5 minutes.
Put your biscuit on a towel so the top would be on the towel. Roll it gently and tightly into a roll.
Let it cool for 15 minutes.
Unroll your roll, spread the cream leaving ~ 1cm from the edges and add some fruits. The author puts mango.
Roll your roll back.

It's best to let it rest for a few hours, but we ate a half of it right after I made it. It's really easy and it's delicious :)
