It's not that women are less visual, it's that there are additional barriers other than visual that matter to women some of which aren't immediately apparent so women take longer to access a guy.

For men trying to appeal to women it is like a hurdle race where the first hurdle is Physical attractiveness and then many other hurdles follow (income, status, personality, education) etc. Women then say "see to women, looks don't matter as much, look at all these other things we care about"

except no, the first hurdle is still looks and they matter just as much to women

if the guy falls at the first hurdle (physical attractiveness) he doesn't even get to attempt to clear the rest of the hurdles and is in the exact same position as a woman who fails to clear the first and only "looks" hurdle a man put in front of her.

They're trying to figure out women because they're lonely as fuck. Men get rejected 99%+ of the time (even by LVW) and it's completely demoralizing but we keep subjecting ourselves to this rejection day after day after year after year because "it's just the way it is." Even very attractive and successful men have the same trouble with women. Even women have these problems with women.

In Western societies, most cultures are gynocentric and ultra focused on the development of females. Basically, the females do not have any real environmental pressures, but the hypergamous nature remains the same or gets stronger. Hence why a woman in the West that is average looks wise and economic wise will look down or show no interest in men on their own level. If there is any interest, it's typically just dick, money and attention. Or after they have been physically and or emotionally ran through.

Where as in countries that aren't westernized, women tend to experience a life men in a different way. Where they experience environmental pressures, and lack of access to the best available men. The average woman fears sexual objectification from strange men because she has direct personal experience with men sexualizing her in a threatening manner.

The problem with studies and with anecdotal evidence is the sexuality of women seems to have much more variability than the sexuality of men. All men crave sex so no matter what group of men you study, you’re only going to see two results, men who try and succeed and men who try and fail. Men are literally that straightforward.

Women on the other hand are much more complicated. Depending on the group of women you observe I believe you can get wildly varying results. One group of women can be prudish while another group can be proudly promiscuous. That’s why peoples observed truths about even studies about women can contradict each other… and all be correct. What you believe to be the truth about women’s sexuality will largely depends on the few that you are exposed to in real life, or the “unbiased” surveys you choose to trust.

But the derangement ultimately comes from a feeling that women are (a) not looking seriously at the big picture, and (b) that because of that, there is no attempt to constrain sociological and environmental factors that may be artificially inflating female sexual selectivity past what it could be. If female sexual selectivity plateaus out at a level where the longterm Incel rate is higher than before, but sustainable, then men will probably get used to the other female sexual differences. In the end we are still human so the question still is on where interests align. What is universal to human sexuality so that we can come to understanding.

I feel like human sexuality is mostly based on sensation, perception, validation, and belief. When anything influences that then how we react and respond changes. If I'm a gay man and I live in a homophobic culture then those things will be influenced because my natural sexuality is in conflict with the cultural expectations of sexuality. Two things will happen, conformity or rebellion.

As we see through history, rebellion is so much harder than conformity. Besides economy and food, sex is important to society. Even at the expense of individual expression.
