Even aside from the love bombing, notice how it’s about himself. Guys who say, “you’re different” or “I need a girl like you in my life” etc. are usually narcissists. When it’s always about how you will make their life better or comparing you to other women then it’s a red flag. I don’t go around looking for men to improve me or level up my life. I see a counselor and work on myself. A guy who comes on strong and treat you like his savior will just as easily discard you.

This happened in 2019 when I was 22 and he was 35, he assumed that I was this avant-garde women that I assume he projected must be unloved (which is benign and untrue) who he “related” to on some form or another- his lack of empathy read this as a thankful reassuring door to exploit and for it to be easier if his “prey” had genuine things in common so he won’t have to feign too much similarity which I can see gives a different energy.

People will genuinely relate to you, will try to use that to try and “touch” you, be very careful there are true sick, broken men with nothing to lose and everything to gain.

He ended up demasking volatile misogyny and revealing himself aa a serial cheater and high functioning alcoholic and someone who became abusive through text and sent an unsolicited d*ck pic to upset and demask when I went four hours without texting as well as feeling inferior because he saw me as “intellectually superior” and always planned to tear me down and conquer me by having sex with me.

We didn’t have sex, but we had kissed and he ripped off his NPD mask after a month and two weeks of knowing him.

Scary shit, and yes I’m somewhat more paranoid than ever since then, as someone who was already self preserving and skeptical although I “shouldn’t be” because no commitment or attachment happened.

PSA: Those "creatives" are often neurodivergent women. There is the hypothesis that creativity is to neurodivergent women what math is to neurodivergent men. There are always exceptions to the rule ofc.

But the reason I mention this is because these women are often undiagnosed because they are able to express themselves far better than their male counterpart. In fact language skills can be above average. Due to sexist biases in medicine neurodivergent women are often overlooked. They don't necessarily look like sterotypical nerds. Still the condition remains, they struggle with social situations, have fewer friends and therefore feel disconnected from other people. Longing for a soulmate, someone who "sees" and "understands" them is the weak point predators exploit.

What the other person in this conversation here does is "mirroring" a perceived strong desire for connection. Why do you think that's the case? They know. They already smelled blood. They wouldn't interact with non "creatives" like that.
