I’m in USA and whenever I switch my location to literally anywhere in Europe, I am blown away by how much more approachable and modest European women come off compared to Americans. I’ve done Poland, Sweden, and Estonia and the difference is night and day.

In USA, women’s dating apps reek of narcissism and entitlement with things such as “princess treatment only”, demanding a fancy first date, or “I want to be spoiled”. Or how American women will put like 5 words into each prompt and then be dry in the DM convo. European women have better bios. I don’t speak Swedish or Estonian but I speak Polish and usually a woman’s bio is something along the lines of “I like tea, walks, theater, and naleśniki” or “Looking for a man who we can create memories and laughs”. They look at a relationship as a two way street where it seems in USA a large % of women, young and middle aged, have a laundry list of expectations and are looking for someone to stroke their ego.

I’ve also noticed that American women are more likely to have multiple bikini, bra and panty, or overall revealing pictures. Whereas European women generally have pictures of them dressed with more elegant outfits, with their friends, family, nature, or of them on walks, etc etc. European women are also more attractive by default just by the lower rates of being overweight. Sure there are those women who get plastic surgery or come off as gold diggers, but I find those aren’t that common.

Then theres actually talking to them. I’ve talked to Swedish, English, German and Polish women via dating apps and they are much easier to talk to. They’re generally more educated, less superficial, are more authentic in their personalities, and are generally more interesting to talk to. More often, but not all, American women like to talk about gossip, drama, or what things they want to buy.

Because of this stark contrast, I believe dating apps mainly have a bad rep in USA because of the people, not because of the apps themselves and the service they provide. I could definitely see many American men having more success on dating apps in any given European country than in USA.
