Feminism fought for many thing, womens vote, women education/career, sexual liberation, reproductive rights, etc. Yet while it gave women the right to choose, it did not account for how men would adapt to the new normal, it was based on the assumption that men would remain on traditional paths, while also selflessly accommodating women.

  • Womens vote/suffrage, arguably where it started. Women were given the right to vote, but they weren't given the responsibility of conscription, which still solely sits on men. Women can vote to send men to war (by electing pro war candidates), without having to worry about taking responsibility themselves.
  • Sexual liberation, women marched to change public perception so that they could have relationships and sex with whoever they wanted and not be stigmatized for it. Men who adapt and do the same things, who study the system in order to get good at it (TRP, PUA) are seen as a blight on society, even men that decide to opt out (passport bros, MGTOW) are villanized.
  • Reproductive rights, women protested to get abortion legal, but do not want to give the same right to men with financial abortion.
    • Not to get into the weeds of abortion debate, but they justify this by saying one is about personal healthcare and the other is about financial responsibility for a child, when the reality is that you can only frame it that way if you assume the baby/fetus when in the womb is not life, which is a modern sentiment that was born out of the pro abortion movement, that did not exist before in history.
  • Women have achieved financial independence, yet they still disproportionately seek provider qualities in men. Even on the first date the man is expected to pay for everything to show his commitment as a provider. Of course he has the right to say no, but everyone obviously knows that significantly decreases the likelihood for her to want to see him again.
  • Women have achieved income equality, yet society blames men for there being not enough men who earn higher and have higher status so that women don't have to "date down"
  • Women won the choice to pursue a career, be a stay at home wife, or both, yet men don't have this choice, women don't want stay at home men.
  • In relationships, women work yet still expect their man to be the primary provider, but then also complain that they have to do "unpaid labour", i.e. housework. Basically men choose traditional paths, these women choose non traditional paths, yet expect their man to pick up the slack they left behind when they let go their traditional female gender role.
  • Women have entered the workforce, men are accused of sexual harrassment/etc., including many false accusations. Men start avoiding women at the workplace, keeping all interactions professional, and society doesn't like that.

Feminism claims to fight for equality, but it doesn't seem like its done anything for men, and on the contrary seems to want men to stick to traditional gender roles, as well as take up traditional female gender roles when women want to pursue their dreams.
