It could be a case of like attracts like. For example, my friend group shares most ideas and opinions about dating and women. That's why we're friends. If you have people with wildly different opinions then you lack compatibility and are more likely to seek out like-minded friends.

Women are more agreeable, hence they tend to conform more easily. This is a fact. I think the women on here however, are different from the average women, and their opinions are more varied. (PPD by nature attracts a certain kind of person). But, you're being too hard on women, most men also tend to conform, though this tendency is less pronounced, a majority of men also form a kind of hivemind.

I don’t think public interviews are a good representation of what people actually think and believe. In those situations are subconsciously more concerned with appearing likeable and assimilating with the group than being honest.

This is a very specific example, but when I went to a girls' school the students who worked for our broadcast club thing would go around at lunch looking for people willing to answer questions and appear on the weekly show. We sat in groups of like 8-9 girls on average. The way this usually worked, the most outgoing person in the group would agree to it while the others were mostly hesitant or nervous about it. That outgoing person who dragged everybody else into it would be the most engaged because they're the main one who wanted to do it to begin with. The rest of the group just nods and laughs or agrees with what she says because they didn't really sign on for this and they just want the camera gone as soon as possible.

I wonder if the interviews you're witnessing are similar situations.

Group think is different from a hivemind. When I was less confident in my opinions I would definitely defer to other people, but that doesn't mean I had no original thoughts. I was just afraid.

Social pressure makes people join with the group. And it's not like men don't do this in their own way. Disagreements in general are more accepted, but lots of guys will hide things that they fear make them seem weak or non masculine.

Put it in another way: Women agree with each other to keep peace.... whatever that means, at all costs unless its totally out of hands due to extreme disagreement. Its just FSM doing its usual thing. Women care far more about appearance of agreement among their groups FAR MORE than to actually agree with each other. Women care more about the appearance of being leaderless even though there's always one woman or girl in their group who sets the tone for everybody.

Men in groups typically tend to disagree only on minor, trivial issues but they are also mostly in agreement with each other on things that actually matter... (because... you know, you only hang out with groups who have similar interests as you)

Verdict: Women are only slightly more agreeable than men, but that's just your classic "watch what they do, not what they say" type thing. Its usually agreement for appeasement, to distract, or to change topic, etc. Not 100% agreement. Women do this more than men, but not by much.

This is why guys should learn to read body language.

People usually don't have ready made answers to spontaneous questions, especially if they were caught off-guard on the street. If they had friends they'd probably look at them and signal with their eyes, "Help me!"

The other aspect regarding the answers being the same is the fact that when it is about certain "politically correct" topics, they almost always have the same answers. If it is a topic about women, relationships, sex or something like that, women almost always have the same answer because they value themselves and they value what they get out of the man. No hive mind here, only common sense.

Humans being a social animal, I think most people are hive mind. I seen this enough in my area of expertise, where conventional wisdom has something deeply wrong, all the guys still mirror each other.

It just so happens that high up men (alpha, sigma males) and very low males are comfortable being outliers. Betas try to follow the group. Low-testosterone betas, especially, are nasty groupthought monkeys.

Outliers are way higher in men than women and that's where original thoughts come.

For 1, sorry, but conforming to social expectations is one of the single most basic requirements for civilization. It is a pro-social, valuable skill for humans to be able to fit in and agree. If we were all 100% lone wolf individualists who didn’t give a shit what other people think, there’d be no civilization at all. Men who refuse to conform get thrown in jail. Normal non-criminal are great at fitting in and confirming too. Within reason, it is a good human quality, not something to mock women for.

And for 2… insulting women for caring what other people think is just another way that men show they dislike femininity. Don’t complain about women not being feminine and about women being independent.

Seriously, men here won’t shut up about how they want to date agreeable women and hate disagreeable women… so why are you mocking women for something so many men select for so desperately?

Very often what looks superficially like agreement is actually more of a socially motivated exercise in finding common ground between people who have quite different opinions and will continue to have different opinions and will continue to act on those different opinions in quite different ways. Women, more than men, have been shown to conform more to the group when their likeability is on the line. This, obviously, has a biological component, as women need the support of the group to survive.

Thus, if you talk to women about concepts that would come to influence their social standing, they are more apt to say something politically correct and appeal to the majority.

I'm not sure if this reflects their true ideas, but I'd wager it does. Psychologically, simply saying something tends to influence beliefs to maintain a consistent identity, as shown with China's treatment of POWs.

Yea. This is true. Many, many women cling to each other thinking its safer when they sabotage each other due to emotional immaturity - theres often a limit to their support within a mutually successful group, as at some point the jealousy and comparison will kick in. Men have definitely opressed women for a long time but they keep themselves there now, and often in our ancestry, by gossiping and spreading/clinging to nonsense that they've derived usually from imagination, insecurity, self projecting, etc

Can confirm from my experience because I have witnessed it in several states, in families from black to white, religious or not, I have had diverse experiences and still see the same thing. They talk amongst themselves without inquiring to the person - sometimes even already picking them apart one by one - cannot own up to this, will blame someone else or gaslight.

Women are their own worst ally a lot of the time. They will jump to the defense of a woman with zero idea if shes a victim or not just because shes a woman and "we're opressed" so not only do they keep women down (some of us would like to not be associated with all the nonsense) they often jump into a fight without fact, just feeling, poorly representing themselves, their argument and leaving the impressions that lead to whats happening today.

Entirely at fault? No. But largely. Women dont usually have to take accountability to the same level of men either and thats a luxury some know some have but skirt around for a status without reprimanding - they can all support each other and move on just as well as men can no matter what they did, fake assault claims, setting him up for childsupport entaglement, etc.

Mothers! theyre usually in on it and supporting from the side with their own experiences shaping and potentially ruining their daughters experience. Some women also dont fully leave the nest and can't realize when mommys been hurt too much and needs a diagnosis vs actually right about the bad intentions of another woman/man.

Hive minding is an insult to women, and the gender limits itself en mass with the steamroll of ideology wars that arent even that big their blogs are just loud.
