Since this sub insists men have an obsession with a woman’s sexual past, I’m interested to see which way men would lean.

Let me preface this question by being upfront about my opinions on this. I lean mostly RP, but have gone deep down the Patrice O’Neal mindset on this one. It is my belief that the whole “the best predictor for future behavior, is past behavior” line is a cop out, and there is only one true reason why men care…. jealousy. More partners = higher chance of having had better and/bigger. It all just boils down to insecurity (which is highly unmasculine).

Would be rather be with woman:

A: She lost her virginity in high school. Then had one or two more sexual partners by graduation. She went off to college where she had a few ONS, and maybe a few short term bfs and FWBs. She ended all of the relationships as she got bored or decided she wanted different things. There were a few jocks with 6 packs and maybe a few artsy and creative nerds. None of them gave her mind blowing sex, maybe a few orgasms here and there, but that’s it. Let’s call her N count 20, and she’s completely honest with you.

Now, she’s with you, clearly infatuated with everything about you. You’re definitely the best sex she’s ever had, and she starts saying she loves you and that shes never felt this way before. She definitely gives off the impression she doesn’t miss her past life now that she’s met you.

B: She has had one bf since high school. They lost their virginity to each other at 18 after 2 years of dating. Let’s assume he was the unicorn of males… impeccable genetics and never cheated on her. They were together 12 years and mutually decided to part ways at 28 when everything about life just started to go in different directions for both of them.

She’s with you now, she’s waited and you respect her. Eventually you both have sex, and she enjoys herself. You know she’s being honest about her history and only having ever had sex with her last LTR. She says she loves you after a while. She doesn’t seem to want anyone else.

But, through no fault or character flaw of her own, (let’s say drunk friend of hers or an asshole move by the Ex), you find out they had mind blowing sex for a decade straight. He’s bigger than you (dick size), and better looking. They explored all aspects of sexuality together. They never lost their spark, but life just got crazy so they had to split. They don’t talk anymore, and live on different sides of the country and she never brings him up. It’s clear she’s all about you now.
