I don't want to accuse anyone of you for not leaving your rooms, going out or not being remotely social, but you would have to be some kind of recluse to think that you're doomed to find a partner if you aren't at least a 7/10. I go the mall pretty frequently. The amount of times I see a couple where the guy either looks meh or below that is pretty significant. "I'm a 6/10, finding a partner is...extremely difficult".

Online, and real life are different games. Online, you have profiles that include your height, your best pictures, and exaggerated bios specifically meant to get someone elses attention. This makes it easier for people to filter out profiles that don't have what they're looking for. Online is for people to get quick, easy access to preferable partners.

Real life is different. You don't have women walking around with measuring sticks (outside of TikTok content) looking to see if a guy is actually 6 foot or 5'8. Especially women who are 5'4 or below. You don't get to paint an image as easily as you could online, so people get an idea that's closer to who you really are. This works for and against you, because the same applies to women (I'm not perfect so I can accept that of others). When it comes to finding partners IRL people tend to be less strict about finding someone who fits specific criteria because it's unrealistic and inefficient.

"Girls only want guys who are 6 foot" has truth to it, but in real life women want someone who is taller. Shorter men might have a harder time with it but that's it. It's not a death sentence. Online dating apps reflect what everyone says on social media. If you can agree that people can separate social media and real life, you should be able to do the same for dating.

And I wouldn't be crazy to say that most guys' frustration with finding a partner is because they really want the 8+/10 women, but those women have their own standards. These guys pass women who they wouldn't give the light of day all the time, but only notice the ones who they're attracted to. Us guys do the same thing we criticize women for.
