I’ve been friends with and dated many women whose perspective can be summed up as “Men are terrible, but you’re ok/one of the good ones”. I don’t know how to feel about this, honestly. Maybe the same way you feel as you’re asking this question.

It’s not uncommon for people to feel worn down or frustrated by the opposite sex yet would feel something is missing from their lives without a relationship with one of the group they complain about.

I don't think it's contradictory at all. I think it's natural to bristle against standards that you feel are impossible to meet, while also still craving that connection that you feel is unjustly denied to you.

Humans naturally want validation even if it’s from someone they supposedly “hate”. A lot of this hate is really just bitterness and resentment towards modern women. They’re upset that modern women can have a lot of things that they can’t such as a rich social life, plenty of dating options, and just popularity in general.

A lot of this bitterness and resentment would leave if these women gave these men a chance. Otherwise they wallow in their own pity.

It’s ok to be jealous and feel sad that you don’t have what someone else does. We all do it and it’s human nature. However you gotta think about how it’s gonna affect your partner in your relationships. It’s really hard to love someone who hates your good traits.

This particular one seems like he was just lonely. He pays for sex to band-aid the pain, but wonder on top if his attempts at self-soothing will wind up turning down the one women at there that might have liked him. Its basically holding out hope for a wild unicorn.

Males seek validation from humans because we are animals and the instinct to reproduce is extremely strong. You don't eat for a few days and all you can think about is food. A similar thing occurs when you have 0 sexual validation.

At the same time... you can be disgusted by those who's validation you seek behavior. The two are not mutually exclusive. I don't necessarily agree with that standpoint but I understand where it comes from.

In my opinion, there's a huge difference in garnering attention from people who are only viewed as short term or the casual relationship type.

Versus people who are viewed to be potential lifetime partners.
