This is something I've observed among women. Despite the apparent "wall" which TRP claims they hit in their late 20's/early 30's, I've noticed that women's standards perversely increase as they get older, not decrease (you'd expect them to decrease). At a bare minimum, their standards remain the same as they get older.

I've never come across a woman who lowers their standards as they get older. They'd rather remain single than have to lower their standards. It's just something I've never seen any of them do.

I think their standards rise for several reasons:

- they get a clearer idea of what they want in a man as they get older

- they've had sex with more men, so more chance of them having slept with alphas/hot men and thus they believe this is their level

- many of them have advanced in their careers to earn decent money, so they expect men to have done the same. Even if they haven't, they expect a man to have amassed some sort of wealth and career by a certain age.

- now with online dating and social media, they have more access to men than ever before. They can get dates whenever they please, no matter what their age. They have much more choice than generations before them.

- crucially male thirst is always present, so they always feel like they have a great deal of choice at whatever age.

I'm open to have my viewed changed (obviously lol, hence CMV) but I just don't see all these women "settling" when they get older. Perhaps this is a millennial thing and generations of women before them weren't like this?
