In another post I mentioned that most men who get married think it means steady access to sex. Some people were offended by it and said it's shallow , the most important thing is companionship etc.

I don't see why companionship is so much more important than sex. In general, I don't see why as a society we act like sex is not that important for relationships.

Sex is extremely important for men and unless there is a medical reason, most men would feel undesirable and worthless if their partner refused to fck them. If a man straight up refused to see his woman as a sexual being, I bet that woman would feel her self-esteem crumbling. We can see some examples in r/deadbedrooms . Yet because it's typically women who do the rejecting we act as if it's a perfectly valid choice and the man is probably a misogynist for wanting to fck his wife.

Sex is proven to be linked to better psychological and physiological condition. People who have regular sex typically have better self esteem and better psychology. Sex is not just a random act, it's vital for human beings
