I think it's really sad on both sides TBH. Love & the pursuit of it should not be commoditized IMO. It makes the whole thing feel dirty & transactional. Though a last minute cancellation after costs are incurred for transportation, babysitting, etc totally warrants reimbursement.

Firstly, it's never going to effect me because I'm a reasonable person who doesn't stand people up, ghost them, cheat on my partners, or any of the other reprehensible behaviour that she has indicated she's charging these guys for.
