I've seen a lot of posts that say OLD is terrible for men. They say they can't get matches and just swipe on everything in hopes to find anyone. Women say they have to filter much more. Also apparently there is a very big ratio difference of men and women in OLD.

Men say if they aren't a 10/10 then they won't even get an average women. Average woman is apparently defined by: not fat, not completely poor, cute face, not high body count.

A lot of women say they can only gain sexual attraction if some physical points are matched but mostly after they started interacting with the potential partner.

So if we would try to leave hook up culture outside this and actually focus on people that are searching for long term companionship: How would OLD be improved?

Would we need a service that lets you fill out a questionnaire and them you upload a photo but the other person doesn't get to see the photo at first? Maybe anonymous group of people would have to rate your attractiveness and give you an assigned number for it. You know the whole 10/10 thing that people on here like to use.

So. After the rating is done and the questionnaire is done. People would get matched by that and after talking both of them could decide to show each others pictures? Or would the form have to be able to rate you priorities? Like you could answer some questions and rate how important certain attributes are to you in a relationship.

It would be interesting to see if people that got rated by a group of anonymous people with the same rating would actually find each other physically attractive.

The common debate here is people irl do date their equals when it comes to looks vs women date up because they have the chance.

Do you think OLD could be improved in a way? What would be your ideas and suggestions to improve the experience for everyone?
