Or at least, they will be a major step in the right direction. I don't really blame those who deny it, because it seems like a very small number of men are both lean enough and built enough to experience the benefits of this for themselves. Here are some of my arguments:

  • Sex Appeal
    • A nice body is inherently sexual in a way a handsome face or nice clothes just aren't. I'm 5'10" and a 7 at best in the face. I've never been approached by women or received a sexual opening message on a dating app in my life until getting fit. When you've got an impressive physique, women do all of the things creepy men do: catcalling, groping, etc.
  • Attracting Certain Niches
    • When you're fit, you'll unlock access to certain demographics like gym girls and girls into athletes, along with women in the general population. I definitely don't recommend taking steroids, but even gross looking roidheads still have a very enthusiastic following from certain women. I've never seen any of them struggle to get girls. People's standards aren't quite as high if you meet them organically through a social circle, but if you're trying to get interest from a fit woman on a dating app, they just aren't going to settle for some skinny fat dude. It is what it is.
  • Face Gains
    • It can't be understated how much better most men look at a low body fat percentage (let's say <12%). Although I've never been fat in my life, going from 16% to 10% body fat made a drastic difference in my face. My jawline became chiseled and I'm no longer confused for an 18 year-old kid with all the baby fat stripped off.
  • Rarity
    • There are a lot of tall guys. There are a lot of handsome guys. There aren't too many guys who could show up to a pool party and turn heads. A physique is something that can't be bought nor faked and will instantly make you stand out wherever you go.

For all of you eager to respond with, "bUt PeRsOnAlItY tHoUgH", I understand personality matters, but if you're trying to attract strangers, looks come first. It's silly to obsess over your interviewing skills if you're not even making it past the resume screening. The more attractive you are, the less you need in other categories. You don't exactly have to be Mr. Suave when a girl comes up to you asking to squeeze your arms. Any guy with bare minimum social skills could close the deal given that opportunity.

For any guy who still doubts what I'm saying, I encourage you to spend a couple years getting in the best shape of your life, take some high quality dating app photos showing it off, and see what happens.
