An idea popped up duing a thread about attractiveness ranges. When women gave various actors to illustrate their physical attractiveness range (because showing pictures of public people is easier), they got told that they are attractive because of status/money and not looks.

So why don't men give a list of pictures that encompasses a range of differently looking people and then the women would sort those pictures either by giving a numerical value (X/10) or sorting into piles (attractive, neutral, unattractive)?

The problem could be that they could set it up like some set the question "which one would you choose: one who has all the good qualities or one that has all the bad qualities?" and call the women shallow for not choosing the one with all the bad qualities.

"Women just wanted to be treated normally" breaks my heart because I wish that in public and professional settings, and in relationships too, people would just try to treat nobody as childish pieces of trash.

But it's still a wall banger. It's a wall banger to say that men just want to be treated normally. In order to fall in love with someone, they have to treat you in a way other than normal. They have to be excessive in the right way. They have to be detached in the right way. They need to do stuff for people and achieve shit for themselves in a way that's somehow cosmically endearing far more than that of just somebody "acting normal". This is literally why women wind up in relationships where things get really dark.

They need to be with somebody who doesn't feel like a "normal guy" in some way. And chasing that goal, the man they're with gets exhausted and resentful for not living up to that standard of "something other than normal." The moral blame remains generally on men, which is fair, but I think wholeheartedly that saying "oh my god just treat me normally" to a guy trying to find a date isn't advancing humanity in any way.

You can't even apply "oh my god just treat me normally" to any relationship involving anyone because everybody is always being excessive and unreasonable to some degree because it's hard and impossible to just do nothing out of what people expect.

tl;dr People suffer in relationships, women especially, because they're driven to savor the pleasant abnormality of someone else and that someone else often goes mad because they drift apart from the other person's ideas about how fucking awesome they are.

Begging for people to treat you normally is useless. It's better to say "learn how to be ready to just abort your plans when on the prowl for a partner without it wrecking your ego."

It's just an endless outcry to go the fuck home and never talk to women, when it should really be, learn how to keep your ego in control and know when to turn off the attempt at charming anyone, and put it somewhere else, where some other lady may, somehow, actually be fond of the way you act.

Guys will never go home and shut up and try not to get girls. And just treating people like they're a fucking grocery shopper results in zero successful seduction. There has to be a more reasonable way to criticize us that actually works. People get positive feedback from the things they do to be likeable. You need to criticize other people in a way without telling them they're insane for how they've changed themselves to become more attractive and endearing.

You need to not totally put down others for the awkward, contentious, high energy shit they do to others in their own attempt to feel like a valuable fucking human. You literally have to be a bit of whacko to get any girl to like you. You will never get a fucking girlfriend or wife if someone out there isn't hating you at all for how you try be fuckable. You have unwrap and extract that shit rather than try to replace it with some generic idea of respectfulness.

You can tell your friend/coworker that you read Stephen King, watched Squid Game or listened to Kanye's new album last night and they would be like "Cool, how was it? I watched this and this...". But if you say "I played Sekiro last night" all you will get is a weird look. Even today at the Rittenhouse's trial the prosecution tried to pull the "video games cause violence" card.

Even more confusing is that so many people are playing games - they play Candy Crush, other mobile games or even Farmville on Facebook back in the day, and it's still something they keep it to themselves. And it's not even the opposition from boomers, but you get the same reluctance from people from your generation.
