My sister is at best someone in need of help and at worst a legitimate monster. She has hit my mom more times than I can count (not little slaps either), talked about how she wants my parents to die so she can collect the inheritance, pushed my 4'10'' 84 year old grandmother (who can admittedly be a bit much to handle at times personality wise but still) to the ground during an argument and told her to get out of "her" house, pulled pranks on my deaf grandfather at the expense of his hearing inability, suggested euthanizing my grandparents in front of them, defecated on my mom's (really damn expensive) car when told she couldn't go to Mardi Gras due to the ACT coming up and dropped my mom’s diamond ring that costs more than a sizable chunk of America’s salaries from a suite balcony into the Adriatic Sea (thankfully due us being on a top deck it barely landed within a lower deck) out of anger for my mom forgetting to pack her headphones and “good” bathing suit— and that's just what I know of

Despite all that, my parents keep this all under wraps to people outside of the family and bankroll her--paying tuition for whatever she wants do (she didn't even know entering college and I'm not sure she does now even), her summer trips/spring breaks to Ibiza, Mykonos, Tomorrowland

There are family members that outright refuse to see us if she is present

She has not been single for more than a few weeks since turning 15. All boyfriends being white guys (we are Indian but from a midwestern town that was almost all white), all tall--not exactly Chads but none fat or overly skinny (so maybe Chadlite--IDK not the best judge of this stuff), all from decent families (not as rich as my parents' but still 6 figures and educated)--even if a little dull (the ones I met at least)

She's admittedly fairly successful academically--not as much as me (probably due to her having a social life) but still got into a top 20 college, has had maybe 4-5 Bs in her life, etc and has never been fat (never stepped in a gym either but that's beside the point)

I am far from perfect. I am kind of spoiled (not as much as some with money but still), mildly introverted and a little cynical and materialistic—but forgive me if I don't buy the blue pilled explanation that my personality is the reason I'm older than her and a year from entering med school without a kiss or date in my life

The only way you could truly be “involuntarily celibate” is if you were forced to not have sex as in made to wear a chastity cage, or forcibly removed from a situation where everyone else was guaranteed sex such as an orgy.

*I do understand that for a very small minority (I can think of one example I read on here ages ago) of men may have a fantastic personality, a wide social network, diverse and successful hobbies, great career, healthy and fit body, but extremely unfortunate height (this example the guy was 4’1 so not even just short but he could be classify for a disability at that height). In this case I can see how the term would be more appropriate but even then there is still the prostitution option. Also people with disabilities or disfigurements are also at extreme disadvantages and my heart goes out for them because it really is a judgmental world we live in.

But yeah for the majority of people Who identify with this term I don’t think it’s an accurate term and it almost allows responsibility to be shifted away from themselves and onto others because it’s “involuntary/forced”
