If you follow channels that discuss dating dynamics/some of the common topics in this sub and/or own a tiktok account, chances are you've probably come across justpearlythings, a redpill woman who promotes traditional concepts of dating/marriage and advocates for the red pill-side of topics like impact of promiscuity for women, difference in how n count is perceived for men and women, men desiring younger attractive women, criticizing body positivity ect...

Essentially, she's saying all of the same things that the biggest red pill creators in the manosphere are saying and holding women accountable for their complacency and contribution to the state of modern day dating. Bluepill narrative paints a picture in which a lot of men struggle in dating solely women have raised their standards and men aren't willing to step up. While true to a certain extent, that fails to acknowledge that women also aren't willing to step up. The average man and the average woman are both crappy dating prospects, and the average woman has far more unrealistic dating standards, something that pearl reiterates regularly. Here are some of my thoughts and observations on pearl's rise:

  1. Very clearly, redpill ideas resonate with young men. Women can't claim that it's just a bunch of misogynistic dudes trying to scam gullible young men out of money, like they do to try and rationalize why red pill influencers like Kevin Samuels or freshandfit exploded in popularity. Whether you want to acknowledge it or not, the ideas that redpill creators are things a lot of men can identify with. It's not because they "hate women" or because they are violent incels. It's because the fairy tales and lies they've been brought up to believe are incongruent with reality. We've had this song and dance before where people try to minimize the way redpill has exploded in popularity and pretend dating is in a great state because they saw a fat boomer at walmart with his wife or know a guy who's sister's wife's brother's friend is a 5'6 guy with a hot girlfriend. Next thing you know Andrew Tate is the most searched person in the world and every teacher is on reddit crying that their high schoolers are talking about him.

  2. She illustrates that in the context of dating dynamics, women are less interested in debating in good faith. Since she's not a man, women can't call her an an angry misogynistic incel like men who express red pill beliefs. Nor can they pull the "Men aren't entitled to sex" card to derail the conversation entirely. Instead, they resort to personal attacks about her appearance (which has no bearing on the validity of her views), call her a pickme, and say she has internalized misogyny. Ironically, this is perhaps the largest reason pearl has been so successful: she engages with people she disagrees with who will challenge her views She brings in guests for podcasts and does street interviews with one of those change my view sort of signs, and seldom does anyone that disagrees with her have a rebuttal with any sort of substance to it. Just the typical, if a man has X view he's insecure or misogynistic. Which also why it makes for good content: it illustrates how silly the criticism of men's preferences is. Functionally, what determines whether preferences/standards are reasonable or not in the dating market is whether you can attract someone that meets those standards. If you think women in their mid 20s should find men in their mid 30s old and disgusting...too bad. You don't dictate who those women date any more than a man can dictate women being attracted to tall men. The dating market does.

  3. She illustrates that women and white knights try to silence anyone expressing beliefs that do not line up with blue pill and woke culture. The actual reason Andrew Tate was de-platformed from essentially everywhere was precisely for this very reason, stating politically incorrect beliefs. He hasn't been convicted of any crime, and videos of him roleplaying/engaging in whatever kink with his ex girlfriend have been debunked. Like Tate, and freshandfit, pearl has been banned from tiktok repeatedly. There's women who's entire content just consists of shitting on men (i.e Drew Afualo) but nobody cares, because much like reddit admins who have been caught in DMs admitted that the rule on "harassment and promoting hate" does not apply to men, it's socially acceptable to trash men.

I don't agree with all of her beliefs (i.e. abortion, and financial abortion) but I think she's doing a good job of giving men a voice for things a lot of them believe but can't say.
