I think men are starting to become more image conscious these days and it's going very badly. Steroids, plastic surgery, and even eating disorders are becoming more common for men now. It's actually concerning. A lot of men still don't care, but a lot of young ones do. I know a LOT of men who are very obsessed with how they look.

That's the only point of contention I have with your post.

Most of the things you mentioned are innate advantages and not social privileges. What pisses a lot of men off is that the privileges women enjoy from various institutions in society, from female-only scholarships, to diversity hiring quotas, to unofficial(but very real) privilege when it comes to criminal sentencing, etc. Literally textbook discrimination.

Some groups being treated better by society than others is more likely to be regarded as an injustice compared to some groups having innate biological advantages.

I don't think those men envy women, they resent women. It is not the same thing.

They probably love being men, they just don't like how women are to them. They also resent that women live in tutorial mode in the West, and still find reasons to scream about how oppressive men are or how all men are pigs.

If you are the bottom of the barrel, heck, even the middle of the barrel, as a man you have to put ALL effort and you find that very unfair. In the past there were mechanisms of compensation, that usually implied some loss of freedom of both men and women, but those mechanism have been disabled and now total freedom kind of implies total Darwinian life.

You also find unfair the same women that rejected you try to sell the idea that NOW you shall date them, after they had like 2 kids with other men.

This is the an advantage but even then the worst part, period pain, from what I know period pain is variable and for most women the pain is mild or for some non-existent(not all some women have painful periods).

If a man wants kids someday he has substantially time to work with than resorting to egg freezing etc which is quite expensive.

This is a slight advantage because unpopular opinion but as a man just your reproductive period is for life post puberty doesn’t mean you should do it past about 50 sperm quality drops and low quality sperm carries a lot of risk for the kid.

Not having your sense of self so wrapped up in your outward appearance is a blessing. A mans pride is far more in his accomplishments and achievements than his beauty. As he gets older his pride will grow, but as a woman gets older she will have to deal with growing insecurities.

This is assuming that most men(people) become a success and aren’t just mediocre, the truth is that most men aren’t having pride in anything because they just won’t have any notable accomplishments while women would at least had their looks in their 18-early 30s even if they don’t become successful. As for the insecurities, if you are 5+/10 young woman there is no reason to be insecure about your looks since a lot men will simp for you.

Edit: Just in case anyone thinks I am saying that being female is recruit difficultly, I’m not just that aside from child birth, fertility and periods, the advantages OP brought are pretty weak. The more pressing advantages of being male is less sexual harassment against you, you don’t have to wonder if you hookup is going to rape you or push your boundaries, you get respected more in male dominated occupations(which are the higher paying ones), you don’t have to be expected to do homemaking duties while working a full time job .etc

Women are able to live such easy lives that they can acquire education, careers, jobs, opportunities and wealth aplenty using their sexual value alone... all while being completely oblivious to the fact that without it. They would have limited if any result...

It is also reflected in their psychology. Women have it so easy that they walk into dangerous, dramatic and self destructive stuff like dangerous men and drugs just to feel anything... not too different from men who were born ultra rich and need to go into dangeorus titanic trips to feel anything after they got everything handed to them in a silver platter their whole lives.

There is little to appreciate. It would be like a billionaire saying that poor people have the "priviledge" of being liked by how they behave... as none will pose as liking them for their money...yeah... it is a positive for being poor... but there is no doubt that these are limited and nothing in comparison to living the life of a billionaire.

Men and women have different challenges. To me, the issue in modern dating is that - I dislike to say it - many women are playing way more than men and it sounds like it's done with purpose. The (probably) fact that a minority of men - rich, very fit, funny and sometimes good looking men - can have it all (multiple partners at once), while an average tall, kind and hard-working dude with status struggles to start a family is an enormous problem. I respect what you say, but imo, what you mention is only true in theory.

Cool so my blessing I can build muscle easier and don't have periods. Society is less concerned about me be sexual active. I have a longer time to start a family.

Women have it easier in life. They are constantly coddled, encouraged, get countless benefits from womens programs and quotas, are allowed to talk about their feelings and advocate for themselves, they are less likely to die from suicides, violent death or workplace accidents, they are not required to go and die defending their countries in wars, they get sentenced to lighter sentences and so on and so forth. "Women are wonderful" effect is huge. There's also less pressure on them to succeed in life because they can always get a beta provider/slave to pay for all their shit, always have simps available to give them free food etc. These days they are not even required to pop out kids or do household work in return. There's a reason Norah Vincent got depressed when she lived life as a man, and many ftms report similiar findings. The average woman would probably suicide after being forced to live as an average man for a couple weeks.

That said, I'm still happy I'm a man because I know my achievements are actually my own and not the result of society putting my dick on a pedestal and coddling me. I played life on nightmare mode and won, whereas there are plenty of women who life on easy mode and still fail.

Modern medicine has minimized the risks of giving birth, and if you get an epidurial you can minimize pain a lot. And while periods are an inconvenience in the best case scenarios, lots of countries contemplate a work free day.

Also, preagnant women and recent mother have special protections and maternity leaves far greater than mens. In my country if you fire a woman seven months prior or after giving birth, the employer has to pay double indemnization.

Also, if women resort to frezzing egg its because they chose too, they decided to postergate maternity in favor of a career or because they "still got time". As you said, women can get sex quite easily, and have easier access to the oposite sex, so, if they dont find a decent men to procreate its because of their onw fault.

Do you live under a rock? As if men's success in dating, and in life for that matter, aren't directly correlated with their looks?

Society despises ugly men.

When short men complain about their place, or lack thereof, in the dating market, they are told "Suck it up, you pathetic little manlet, are you insecure? How dare you claim that women don't like you because of your height, it must be your personality!"

When obese women have it tough, the whole society is told to cater to them, put them in advertising, whole movements are initiated to make them part of the beauty standard, they are told they're queens and that the men who don't like them are shallow pigs. (which is crazy because there is still a significant subset of men who in fact like overweight women)

When an ugly man approaches a woman, he's a creep; when it's an attractive man, he's a risk taker. When an ugly man is shy and quiet, he's a loser and a weirdo; when it's an attractive man, he's enigmatic and mysterious. There are so many more examples, I could go on and on.

I'll definitely grant you that not having periods is an advantage.

The standards for female beauty are lower than the standards for male achievement. An average woman can be deemed beautiful by a large amount of men. For me to be successful enough for a large amount of women to find me attractive I would have to be a local celebrity or something. You say it is easier to be judged on achievements but do not realize that most achievements are meaningless unless they are extraordinary.
