Let's debate

When women have a bias against men, it is socially accepted and usually laughed off. When men do the same, they are seen as misogynist. I'm not saying both genders don't have a right to be biased, however, when men do it it's seen as wrong

A few examples of women having a bias towards men that is deemed socially acceptable:

- Men at night are dangerous. Men on public transport are dangerous

- Man cold approaching is seen as just wanting sex. It's not assumed he may want love

- "All men cheat". "He's a fuckboi"

A few examples of men having a bias towards women that is met with condemnation:

- A woman posting hot selfies when in a relationship is seen as microcheating behavior by many men, but for this women get up in arms. In reality, no one should be posting hot selfies in a monogamous relationship

- A woman wearing really slutty clothes going clubbing while she has a boyfriend is seen as sus behaviour by many men, but women get up in arms about how she's dressing up for her girls

- When men say women in monogamous relationships shouldn't answer DMs of random men, women get up in arms that it's "just a convo"

Both forms of bias should be socially acceptable, because a bias isn't formed in a void. There are reasons as to why people form certain biases - most of the time it's to protect oneself from someone
