I’m pretty flexible but when I was with my fat ex we watched Rock of Ages and I was literally drooling over Tom Cruise (who I had never fancied before). My ex was amused that I liked a short, skinny guy with trashy tattoos.

Now I’m not saying the universe gives us what we ask for but... I’m really liking dating a guy with a flat stomach with stunning ink. He’s not very tall but he’s so fucking hot!

Ex is still single.

This adds nothing of merit to the discussion but it pleases me to share.

Skincare is important to me as in actively cleansing exfoliating and toning the skin. There’s so many guys in their 30s with blackheads and dull sagging skin already because they never bothered to have even the most basic skincare routine.

Other dealbreakers: being severely underweight or overweight, unkempt hair/beards, poor dental hygiene, dry ashy skin (basically never lotions) and long nails (fingers and toes).

My type is generally 6’0+ with dark hair, a groomed beard not too muscular but with broad shoulders and big hands. Also wears glasses and has a nice smile. I’m seeing someone right now who looks just like this and it’s going well so I’m pretty happy 😃

Like someone said before if I don't feel comfortable looking in your eyes, that is a deal-breaker. Other negative things: shorter than me, has a child/children, goatee, balding/bald, dad bod or flabby in general, missing teeth, dry skin, his scleras (or whites of eyes) are not white but are bloodshot, and gross fingernails or feet (not manicured/weird colors).

High value things: manicured nails (this is important to me because if someone can keep up good nails, odds are they can keep up other things in other areas of their life), taller than me, and then I go from there 😂

I’m very picky about weight. If a guy had even a little bit of a stomach, it’s a huge turn-off. I prioritize my own health/fitness and work hard to stay in shape, so to me a fat body looks slobby and indicates a lack of discipline.

I like wiry, not too buff. Delicate, pretty facial features. Tattoos are a nice extra. No significant preference on height, general aesthetic, or circumcision (I’m interested to hear your opinions about this in particular).

Shorter than me. No go. To be honest, my height would also be a dealbreaker, as I am a tall woman with good posture and men usually slouch.

Obese goes without saying, I think since I’ve had a taste of a non-overweight guy, I am not going back 😂

What I absolutely drool over:

Taller than me, ideally by at least 15cm; good posture; proportionally trained body (think of all muscle groups developed but nothing like the steroid-gym-bro), good looking arms (one of my favorite parts); hands with soft and well-maintained skin without calluses because he’s smart enough to use gloves when lifting weights; defined jawline and cheekbones; abs; obviously good looking and feeling dick; smooth lips; clean shaven face. I love when the guy looks a bit younger than he is, not in a crazy pedophile way, but say people mistake him for 3-4 years younger. Usually that is because of well-maintained skin and body, as well as good genetics and a certain kind of boyish charm I like (for a guy in his 20s).

Too many muscles is a no for me as well. I like fit men but not bodybuilder types. I find their bodies to be a turn-off.

High-pitched voice is a dealbreaker too. Tried it once and couldn’t get over it.

Face tattoos are a definite no.

Ugly “baby” noses—-like where you can’t see their nostrils. I can’t explain this, but it makes them look like oversized kids, and I hate it. This is 99% a white dude problem. The cute little button noses where the nostrils are on the bottom of the nose. I don’t like this on men or women, but I hate it on men cause it looks so infantile. Weirdly specific, I know. I like a strong Roman nose best, but, like the OP, any larger nose >>> small nose.
I’m short but the dude still has to be at least 5’7” or 5’8” with no complex. Prefer 5’9” to 5’11”. Have dated 6’4”. Which brings me to

To be honest, after almost two decades of internalised pickmeism and trying to prove that I wasn't "superficial" by dating unattractive men who had nice (but ultimately still LV) personalities, I'm only just learning to make my own sexual desires a priority and figuring out what I find attractive in a man.

I realised I couldn't be in long term sexual relationships with men I didn't find physically attractive and I've never been with a man I 100% found attractive in both looks and personality.

So far physical traits I like are:

Dark, tall and handsome. Unlike most women on this thread I actually like facial hair (but it has to be maintained cleanly and neatly).

I have a thing for brunette men with blue or green eyes, but wouldn't reject a man with brown eyes if I found him attractive.

Over 6ft 2. I'm 5ft 2 but I like my man to be much taller than me.

Functionally fit, no gym bro bodies. I like a man who has some muscle and is toned but doesn't look like a ripped gym bro with 0% body fat.

No bad breath (big one for me, I just can't 🤢).

And related to the above, he has to smell good overall, including his sweat. I've got a very sensitive nose and I genuinely can't deal with men who smell off to me. Must be a pheromone thing.

My ultimate dealbreaker is bad style or no sense of style whatsoever. I love fashion so it’s very important to me to stand next to someone who also cares how they dress. I’ve dated guys with no style before and it’s straight-up embarrassing to be seen in public with someone wearing cargo shorts and a t-shirt while I’m wearing a dress and heels. I won’t do it anymore.

The other reason this is my biggest concern is because I find that if men know how to dress, they usually know how to groom themselves as well. They shower, they shave, they brush their teeth, etc. It makes it a lot easier to focus on the guy’s personality. I’ve dated a lot of psychos so I can’t be distracted by looks while I’m trying to figure out whether or not this guy is sane.

People LOVE to fall all over themselves to say I’m being judgmental about looks, but I’m not. I put tons of time and effort into my appearance. I expect the same from a guy.

I also won’t date ugly and/or overweight guys anymore. They’re pricks and never stop negging me because of their insecurities. Too much body hair makes me physically gag. I also hate beards.

Has to be a little tan but I like European features...basically a greek nose and square jawline. however a nice beard can easily cover this up. And if he's balding he can't do the halfway thing, it's either a full head of hair or SHAVE IT!

And he has to be older than me...I always attract guys younger than me and I hateee itttt.

If he's obese, stocky and has a round face I'm not interested!

My standards may be way too high but I've stuck to my guns and would rather be lonely than be with someone who doesn't attract me.
