As someone who lives in rural Canada and has gotten 10+ inches of snow this week, you do not live here and permanently own a car that gets stuck in the snow twice in one week with 10 35-minute commutes. That's just not feasible. My guess is she drives an SUV (which costs more to fill up!) and he drives a little mustang or civic or some such nonsense.
