The phrase "don't feed the trolls" comes to mind. Her career is in a tail-spin right now, and the only way she can possibly maintain any semblance of relevance is to keep her name buzzing with controversy. She's using people offended by her ridiculous article to make herself a type of celebrity. Just ignore her. Don't link her articles, don't tweet her. The most effective approach is to calmly write CNN and explain how they lost a viewer over their tacit endorsement of hate-mongering. And be done with it.

Last time I checked it was she that had the headline "Are Men Stupid?". Her answer was yes because of few examples of famous men taking unnecessary risks for sex. It's actually amusing that she's taking the role of chauvinist here, and that her incredulity is exactly the kind of response that wouldn't be overlooked if she were a man asking if women were stupid. Things really have changed. There's some old footage of Hugh Hefner on a talk show getting taken to task for the same sort of behavior in the 70s. Now it's some online columnist who feels that by virtue of her gender she's free of criticism.
