I see a lot of posts on here and various other subreddits from men saying that women only want men that are high value “10/10” and want nothing to do with average guys, but I do not think this is true.

I think that many men are below average, but consider themselves to be average while having desire for partners that are above average.

These same below average men bring up the same OK Cupid “study” which technically isn’t even a real study because it has extreme bias and several issues.

These men also bring up how women have tons of matches on social media while failing to realize the majority of these matches mean nothing because maybe 1 out of every 10-15 matches is actually someone a woman would want to date. A like from a man doesn’t mean anything when it’s someone that you’re not at all interested in.

These same men are those who probably aren’t swiping yes or showing interest in women that are actually within their league. Men only focus on the top 30% of women and completely ignore the rest.

Think about how often you see a couple where there’s a below average man with a beautiful girlfriend, and usually it’s never vise versa.
