The way I like women is very odd. I almost like them like fishes, if I could just watch them in fishbowl living their lives and feed them(presents, nice deeds) I would. I sound like a stalker or cuck or something but I genuinely do care about some particular women's wellbeing.

Another post.

I didn't really view marrying legally as a necessity, but a few stories among my social circle changed my mind:

The first one is well-known. The guy got killed in the car accident caused by _famous Russian actor_ and his wife turned out not to be his wife legally. So she can't inherit nor she can get a compensation from the _actor_ for killing her husband.

The second one is from my acquaintances. An older couple, they've been together for around 15 years. The problem was that he hadn't divorced his first wife and she developed mental issues to the point when she was recognized as socially dangerous and lost legal capacity. And who was her guardian? Her legal husband! And he couldn't divorce her, because she didn't have legal capacity for herself.

The third - a young couple, they decided to get more benefits for having kids as a "single parents", but were living together like a family. His mother didn't approve his choice of a partner and when he suddenly died she just kicked out her and their kids out of his flat. No inheritance, no property, no pension.

Another story with a similar plot, a couple didn't get married and a father wasn't written in the birth certificate, again, for getting welfare and a woman got into jail. Kid went straight to orphanage.

All these stories could have been avoided by marrying/divorcing in time or writing a will. But it seems that most often people just assume that everything will be okay.

I brought this up right now because he unknowingly proves her point, specifically her last sentence.

Now, back to the article's first point:

Scott Alexander is a San Francisco Bay Area psychiatrist. He talks about his one patient, "Dan". Dan's discussing that he might get fired from his two jobs after spending some time at a psychiatric hospital due to a breakdown. Then he has to nerve to write, "later that night I was browsing the Internet and I was reminded of what the worse response humanly possible" and then tries to compare Dan's situation to women reminding nice guys that they're not entitled to sex.

How horribly selfish and narrow-minded to make that comparision. According to him, Dan "came from a really crappy family with a lot of problems, but he was trying really hard to make good. He was working two full-time minimum wage jobs, living off cheap noodles so he could save some money in the bank, trying to scrape a little bit of cash together" and he uses Dan's situation to try to make comparisons to men not getting laid? I don't know if I can't explain how much I feel bad for Dan that his psychiatrist is this awful.

This also proves a sense of entitlement, because Scott had to exploit Dan's story to imply feminists should feel as bad for single men exactly like they should feel sorry for Dan. Proving what the "evil uncaring feminist" said: ultimately, everything boils down to them and their needs, by which I mean their penises.

Worst, Scott that he "gave [Dan] a pill to treat a biochemical condition almost completely orthogonal to his real problem". So it's implying Scott's not actually helping Dan with his problem. I almost want to cry for Dan (assuming this is a real story, of course) that he had to rely on an ineffective psychiatrist who thinks not getting laid is the same as poverty and unemployment.

Point 2 proving this is all about sex and I doubt Scott is good in his field.

Other than the fact I don't think Henry's story is real at all (this dude has more wives than most wealthy Sugar Daddies), but it should be obvious to anyone with a degree in Scott's field that the women Henry attracts are mentally ill and dealing with unresolved conditions and traumas. Meanwhile, here I was, twenty-five years old, never been on a date in my life, every time I ask someone out I get laughed at, I’m constantly teased and mocked for being a virgin and a nerd whom no one could ever love, starting to develop a serious neurosis about it.

THAT is who Scott is jealous of? A violent felon who treats women like shit? And I'm suppose to believe "Nice Guys" aren't the assholes while they idolize men like Henry just because he beats/manipulates/cheats his way to an endless supply of pussy?

Of course Scott doesn't give a shit that most men do well with women. Most men only fuck ONE WOMAN, and Scott's more interested in juggling a bunch of women who most likely have mental health issues!

I disagree that it's a heteronormativity thing. It's a narcissism thing. I've seen some females do this too. They're so concerned about pitying themselves, they give little-to-no concerns for other people. They mainly focus on how they feel and will pay no mind to others, but they expect everyone to coddle them and treat them like the center of the universe.

I've got a bit of an epiphany. I don't think it's a problem if a woman is sexually attracted to 20% of men. I think it's more of a problem of men being sexually attracted to 80% of women. It feels exausting, at least it would be to me, to be sexually attracted to 80% of people.
