There seems to be this idea that cold approaching is somehow a nobler, more traditional alternative to using dating apps.
I'm sure most guys have heard "get off the dating apps and go talk to women in real life!" in one form or another.

But how is cold approaching any better than apps like tinder?
At least with dating apps, you get a bit of information about the person, what they like, what they dislike, etc. Cold approaching is 100% done only based on looks.
At least with a dating app, a woman might not be the most attractive, but because a man can see they share similar interests or have something in common, he might be attracted to her. But if he saw that same woman in public, she might not be attractive enough for him to cold approach her.

Also, a lot of people say "dating apps suck if you're not handsome", well, cold approaching also sucks if you're not handsome lol
