As a woman, I hear "too nice" as a stand-in for

  • Has no backbone

  • Won't stand up for himself

  • Scared of conflict

But sometimes I hear it from women who have never been treated well before and when some new guy is genuinely nice to them - they don't know what to do! So he gets rejected. Anyways my question to guys; Has a girl ever been so nice to you... that you didn't like her anymore?

Important Disclaimer:

Being nice by itself is insufficient for most people to be romantically attracted to someone. This post isn't about that. This post is too check if this criteria for rejection is symmetrical or not.
