Many men will use themselves as a reference when arguing this. They'll say "most men" and then refer to themselves saying how they don't want to harm a woman, but when faced with statistics on how men can and have treated women, they deny it ever happened. So I will be arguing using real events that have happened, crimes that were committed, and how similar things happen around the world. It is very important to remember in arguements like these the effects of DV because many crimes are committed by people you know rather than strangers.

Many people who argue against women choosing the bear will use their own experiences of how they treat women to prove that men aren't dangerous, but disregard a woman's experiences about how men treated them.

A bear does not rape, coerce, drug, pressure, blame, black mail, kidnap, or torture their victims. They only defend themselves from danger, and hunt for food.

A man can do all of those things and more. Not all deaths are the same. There are ways to defend yourself from a bear because their actions are instinctual, but men are more advanced. We are the top of the food chain, and yet men still want to argue that women have no reason to be so fearful of us.

This is not my full arguement, please comment and let me know your opinions on this, I'd prefer opposing opinions so I can make the points I want to make, but if you have more to add that is welcome too. I really am interested in the different opposing opinions, so I will also ask some people to elaborate further.
