Damn right we are. And also, men are starting to realize that most of women are not worth complimenting because they don't actually value those compliments at all and treat men like shit in return. Compliments only makes women's ego even bigger and makes them become more arrogant and cocky each passing year. So yeah, chasing is not worth it. I rather be single than chase some woman who then expects princess treatment from me and gives me breadcrumbs in return. Women have overplayed their hand, which has gotten us into this mess.

I've been watching recently alot of videos regarding dating in mens perspective and the majority of it is projectjon, lots of insecurity or fear, lots of need for control. Almost the same issues women face in dating.

I disagree with your explanations as to what men are looking for, and believe most of them simply want an equal effort compared to the traditional gender roles of men leading courting.

Look, I’m willing to take your word for it that you’re not being condescending towards men or trying to shame them as some of the other commenters are suggesting, but please be aware that you’ve phrased this in the worst possible manner if that isn’t the case.

Many men do not want to be called feminine terms due to our culture making femininity seem weak, but it is also used by some homophobic women who call a man gay or fág for politely rejecting her.

But yes, as someone who would be gender non-conforming even if I wasn’t also Non-binary, I specifically desire switching gender roles and dynamics with a partner because that is already what I am naturally like in both traditionally masculine and traditionally feminine ways, and in the bedroom I’m also a switch. I’d feel like I’m only expressing half of my personality if I was only engaging in the traditional male gender role.

For example I want to pay for the other person’s date and them for me for each other, I would be happy to be the only one to dress-up nice in my cross-dressing outfit and makeup and be the object of desire during a date where the other person is laidback and just dresses casually, I enjoy pursuing and being pursued, I enjoy initiating and receiving messages first, I would unironically enjoy being gifted flowers I picked out for my partner to get for me, I want to Dom and sub in intimacy etc. I enjoy both masculine and feminine terms of endearment for myself and doing so towards them if they welcome so.

You asked for an answer so I tried to give you a detailed one as to how some of us males are specifically seeking partners who are equally gender non-conforming together in our modern dating era.

Yeah of course its nice to get effortless opportunities i dont know why it would be bad not to put in work and have it easy that of course would feel nice.

You can put it like that all you want but being able to easily get access to women without jumping through hoops is a nice benefit which could be seen as king treatment if anything.

So theres no big deal for a man that wants that from time to time or just some of the time. I mean women on the other hand dont have to do much of anything ever to get anything so they always get that benefit.

Men will/want peruse women, a real reason a lot of Men don't is that woman will go around validating other woman that don't want to be chased as the norm. Men listen to woman all the time, they hear the animosity that woman seem to support towards approaching and act accordingly. On the top of the fact Woman try to be overwhelmingly boisterous in their rejections, thinking it's some superiority contest, but in reality, they're adding another reason for that guy to stop approaching.

Men are also not dumb. They can see how woman will treat someone they're attracted to and how easy it is and want that same thing.

But the question many men, reasonably or not, are asking themselves is what does the latter “anything” mean that makes the former “anything” worth it. The issue many men have isn’t that they want the “Treasure at the End of the Rainbow” without working for it, but that they suspect that there’s no treasure at the end at all, making the journey worthless.

If you go deeper into TRP and BlackPill thought, the premise is even worse than that: the idea that a small subset of men are in fact getting the Princess Treatment you mention, and those same women that in the past gave such treatment are the supposed aforementioned Treasure for other average men, so as an average man what you get as a “prize” that you had to work and fight for, was the “anything without doing anything” of other men - which for many men, again fairly or unfairly (that’s a different debate), is distasteful, to say the least.

You can agree or disagree with that, but it’s an entirely different premise than the one you are passively-aggressively conveying.

I think men and women are actually converging on what they want but many among both genders are not tolerating the transition. Toxic people are digging their heels in and trying to have relationships for personal consumption instead of trying to live up to either gender’s expectations.

The extent to which men are in their “princess era” is also the extent to which women are in their “soft life” era. I’m dating women in their mid 30s now who have their life way more together than women I’ve dated in the past but put wayyyy less effort into the relationship. I can imagine lots of women are experiencing the same.

Nah men still do chase women, the men who chase are quitting after chasing 7-8 women and than giving up if they dont get results, which as a guy you have to chase 1000 women to get 6 matches, and if you are attractive you get 200 from 1000 approaches on average.

Also everybody is wanting to be desired and chased, you only putting this on men and try to emasculate them is quite misandristic. You should preach the same thing for women too. How they are too lazy to improve themselves, how they act like a men, how they have a desire to control the relationship, and how dating as a whole is just projection for women. Men do like to chase, not my opinion but simply a biological fact. But they do not want to endlessly chase or play games and they are generally only interested in chasing what they see as valuable, if a woman gives out her body easily men will generally put in very little effort to chase.

This is text book toxic femininity, you start by saying you understand and you care to help disguise your insult. You probably did this subconsciously, it’s a classic example of how women use words in an attempt to lower another’s status while raising theirs. It is also a way of avoiding backlash because you can always fall back to saying “I wasn’t being mean I was just trying to express I understand his situation” that would be more effective maybe 1000 years ago in a tribe of people who had never read a book on psychology.

Almost the same issues women face in dating.

This is the most valid point of your post, both men and women fail to realize that the problems they have almost everyone else does as well, even if on a different level. For example women think men feel safe walking down the street in a bad neighborhood at night, I can assure they don’t, we think about getting beat up or robbed, But we maybe feel less unsafe than a woman.

I hope this post was rage bait or a joke and not serious. If this is actually how you feel and how you talk to people I would suggest you take some time and try to consider how you have internalized some very normal but self destructive behaviors.

If you knew anything about the male life experience, you'd know that it is ingrained to boys and men alike that we do not and will not get a damn thing in life unless we work hard for it and earn it.

So even if men want to have it easier in dating, which is understandable because dating for men is nothing short of an emotional crucible, that doesn't change anything about life outside of dating.

Props for trying, but you don't fully understand. It's not that men don't want to chase. They just don't want to chase the same women that other guys didn't have to chase and/or who chased other guys. With the development of social media and dating apps the cat is out of the bag, men see what women think, say, and -most importantly - do. They don't want to be chased and desired because they wanna feel like the world is theirs. Like, that would be nothing new, wouldn't it? Men would always wanna feel like it - who wouldn't? No, they want to be chased in desired because that's the only way they can know a woman is attracted to them. Because they have seen or heard how women act with men they are attracted to - they chase and desire them, make it easy for them, want to have sex with them, etc. So if a man can't get that - why bother? Not even that - how embarrassing and insulting is it to be expected to accept a worse deal?

You sound like "nobody wants to work" people. Of course nobody wants to apply or take jobs/offers for compensation that is much lower than what they see others getting.

The thing is, not many men are that desirable. And relationships are more work for women than they are men. Getting a man, just isn’t worth it for a lot of women.

There’s a reason women have been oppressed through most of history, when given the choice, they would choose to remain single a lot of the time.

I lost the person that I thought was the love of my life this past year for precisely this reason.

He'd consumed a bit too much manosphere content and started being cold and distant because he wanted me to 'chase' him.

I completely lost interest and blocked him on everything.

To this day he still tries to email me from time to time.
